🛩️ Build, Paint, and Soar into History!
The Airfix Quickbuild Messerschmitt Bf109E-4 / E-1 is a meticulously designed 1:48 scale plastic model kit featuring 107 pieces. It allows modelers to recreate three distinct aircraft schemes flown by notable pilots during World War II. With a skill level of 3, this kit is ideal for enthusiasts seeking a rewarding challenge. Painting is required, and specific Humbrol paints are recommended for an authentic finish.

A nicely detailed kit. Updated review.
A nicely detailed kit, challenging for less experienced modelers. No flash, molding is crisp, typical for recent Airfix kits. Airfix kits have a good semi-matte texture that makes painting easier. I am pleased with this kit.Edit to add....The title is wrong, this is NOT a "quick build" kit. Also the all black scheme shown in the pics is NOT provided for in this kit. This is my second order for this kit, which will be finished in the Jugoslav scheme.

High quality kit from Airfix
High quality modell kit of the german WWII dive bomber the Junkers Ju87 the famous Stuka "Sturzkampfbomber". A very good detailed modell kit in all like cockpit and surface. With various opportunities to build like opened or closed canopy and motor covers, landing flaps and elevators in different positions, opened or closed gun bays ... a fun to build but in my opinion not a kit for beginners.

Very good
This kit went together well, the cockpit details were good and the model went together with few issues. My only gripe is Airfix refuses to include the "hakenkreuz" in their decals so I had to buy aftermath decals to make an authentic Luftwaffe Bf109.

BF 109
Model is great value for the money, but there aren’t a lot of parts. The detail is lacking, but the model looks good.

Battle of Britain adversary!
Parts mate well, you can build different versions and the price is right.

Instructions are terrible
This was my first ever model build. I bought this because it was cheaper than most others and I saw some positive YouTube videos about airfix kits.I am satisfied with the quality of the kit for the price. I think its a good starting point - especially if you are a beginner. The plastic molding itself was good quality and reasonably detailed. Some pieces required light sanding touch ups to be able to fit properly - which is understandable. With that being said the instructions were awful and unclear. Certain pieces needed to be cut and modified (as part of the kit) but the instructions didn't clearly state what to do. The numbering system for the sprues and instructions steps were messy. There were a few pieces that did not correlate from the number printed on the sprue to the number printed on the instructions. The instructions are not detailed and do not have any printed words, only pictures. Also - at the end of the build you will have leftover pieces that the instructions do not tell you what they are for. This is in addition to the various bombs and drop tank that also are left out of the instructions completely.
