Two thumbs up for this well-made ratchet belt
Purchasing belts online is always risky for two main reasons that can be found in many belt reviews: the belt smells very musty and/or the quality of the leather is really poor as many belts consist of a thin layer of cheap, bonded leather over a filler. Well, I am happy to say that this belt presents neither of those problems. It does not smell and the leather is top grain leather - reasonably thick and it is not bonded. I have had this belt for 3 months now and have worn it nearly every day. I can honestly say that I am quite happy with this product and would like to buy a brown one as soon as this company has one available. I selected the brushed steel buckle as I have found in past experience with other belts that painted buckles eventually begin to chip. The brushed steel is always a safe bet. For those reviewers who complained about not knowing how to unlatch the belt, there is a small lever on the bottom of the buckle that needs to be pulled outward to release the buckle. Ratchet belts offer the best fit so the quality of this one makes it a good buy.

Perfect fit everytime!
I love these belts. The ratcheting buckle allows for the perfect fit, everytime. This is my second belt purchasedo. Not because the first one wore out, but for more variety.

Way better than a "standard" belt, especially for people with weight variances
This is the first belt I've had in this style. Better than those interweaved belts and the standard belt with the holes at predetermined distances. I cut off a good amount (I think I ordered too big after losing weight) and there is still tons of adjustment left and each adjustment is approx. 1/2 inch which works great for losing or gaining weight.

Exactly what I was needing.
I have been looking at these type belts for a while. I really need the adjustability as some belts are either a bit too tight or not enough. This is very adjustable and works great. Very good quality and seems it should last a good amount of time. As always shipping was super fast and arrived in perfect condition. I will probably be getting a brown color soon. Definitely will be buying again.

Comfortable like those car seat buckle belts, but better.
Growing up, I always loved those goofy car seat buckle belts because of the large range of sizes that they covered. Now, that I am in my mid twenties and have a need to dress up more often, I find that this belt does exactly what I loved about my old car seat belts, but looks much more mature. As much as I love to look put together, I also love to be comfortable.Amazing adjustment ability aside, the quality of the belt itself is superb. But wait, there's more! The possibly best part about these types of belts is that you do not have to buy more than one belt of a color, due to the buckles being interchangeable. There is a hinge on the bottom that lets you take the actual buckle off, and put another one on. All in all, I am extremely pleased with my purchase.

Great belt!
This belt is great. Nice thick leather and a quality buckle. My traditional leather belts with holes were often too loose or too tight. This one lets me tighten it a little bit at a time until it’s perfect. There’s even a knotch formed into the buckle that the button area of my pants above the zipper fits into so it sits nice and flush. Couldn’t be happier.

Good product
The price was great. I have several ratchets belts which were more expensive in cost. This belt is just as good as the others I have maybe even better than the more pricey ones that I have. Nice leather and quality. I am very satisfied with the belt and about to order another one. HJ Tackett Sr.
