AMP100-200W (4 x 50W) Indoor-Outdoor Water/Dust Resistant WiFi & Bluetooth Amplifier with Apple AirPlay

I’ve had the TIC AMP100 installed in my backyard for a few weeks now and I am very happy with this unit. I also purchased 4 GS3’s and 4 GS5’s. The AMP100 powers all 8 of these speakers like a champ!I was looking for an amp that I could store outside. I didn’t want to poke holes in my house and run wire through the walls. Being that the AMP100 is rated for outdoor use and storage, it was the perfect choice.Setting up the AMP100 was pretty easy. However, getting it connected to the Wi-Fi was a little bit of a chore. The app and the unit didn’t seem to like each other or they didn’t like my network. But once I got it all connected, it seems to stay connected and works quite well. I also use the Bluetooth option which works very well. I can play music right from my iPhone using Apple’s Music app straight to the AMP100. Excellent!The amp and the speakers preform very well together at both high and low volumes. My goal was to set up a system that could provide even coverage to the entire yard at all levels. This setup certainly delivers! It sounds clear and crisp at louder volumes for the summer pool party and also delivers a balanced and full sound at a low dinner party level.I only have one complaint. Maybe I have a setting wrong, but the AMP100 doesn’t seem to remember it’s last volume setting. It seems to boot up at a very low level. So, every time I power up the AMP100, I have to crank up the volume so I can then control it from my phone. Not a deal breaker by any means, but it would be nice if it started at the last volume level it was last at.Overall very happy and highly recommend this unit.

This amp is a small, but it's a monster. I have 4 TIC speakers around my yard/pool area and this amp offers VERY clean efficient power to them. Each of the 4 speakers have 8" drivers with smaller drivers for the high end. I was skeptical about the output and sound quality before purchasing, but once I got everything wired up I was blown away by the sound! I ran approximately 100 ft of wire to 3 of the speakers and about 15 ft to the 4th (used the 16ga). While this amp is about the size of a small cigar box and is very lightweight, it pushes these speakers easily. At low listening levels there is still a pleasant low end that is typically lost at lower levels. At high levels my backyard sounds like we have an event dj set up somewhere. Just incredible sound. I think it's ultimately the combination of a good amp coupled with good speakers. TIC is no joke. For years I've heard about them and finally pulled the trigger on this system and honestly, I wish I'd taken the plunge much sooner.If you're into dance/hip hop or just a fan of loud boomy bass you could consider a TIC subwoofer, but I'd package a system together without one first. You might find that you don't need a sub. This amp drives low end to the speakers very well, especially for outdoor sound.Tip: When you first turn the unit on, crank the volume knob all the way up. Not only does this allow you to make more impactful volume adjustments from your phone, it also gives you better sound quality at all levels. You can go from very low to screaming loud with the phone volume and not lose quality at any level.Highly, highly, highly recommend!!

I have been using stereo receivers for years on my back porch to power my 4 in-ground Bose speakers. The receivers usually last a couple of years because the elements and dust get to them. Plus they can be challenging to wire with all the surround outputs etc. I bought this amp and love it. It is designed with straight forward controls and so easy to wire. It’s weather resistant so I don’t have to worry about the elements. The Bluetooth has great range with two antennas and it has been the friendliest to connect to. No “forgetting device” and then turning the Bluetooth on the phone on and off. This thing connects easy. It has a great high volume level but not as high as the receiver so at least my spouse can no longer blast the neighbors out. This amp is absolutely perfect for our pool speakers and I couldn’t have been more pleased. I cut the power to it with a power strip so it does not hold the bass and treble settings. To get maximum sound quality you need to turn up the treble and bass settings to max in my opinion. It’s also small and compact and the lights and controls look great and so professional.

The only reason I don't give this a 5 star rating, is because of the app. There are issues to be resolved with WiFi side. Great sound and lots of power from such a small component.

I was looking for a wireless solution for an outdoor Halloween display and came across the TIC Amp-50. I haven't read many good reviews on outdoor Bluetooth rock speakers and decided to give the Amp-50 a try. The Bluetooth worked well, but I think my laptop doesn't have the greatest Bluetooth and there seemed to be a lot of interference to get a solid connection. The Bluetooth on the Amp-50 worked fine and was easy to set up. I really believe it was my laptop. It's really meant for short distance connections and this was at it's range and through an outdoor wall. So, I contacted TIC and got a really fast response with an alternate solution to use the amp via Wifi. I purchased TuneBlade for the PC and was able to connect to the Amp-50 and it's working great. Since I now have it on Wifi, I can move the amp and speakers anywhere outdoors and stream music to it next summer. Great product and great support. Thanks!
