Perfect for our needs in an apartment. Good size, easy setup, good quality canvas. Fairly lite weight and easy to transport. Our dog wasn't a chewer so we had no issues.

As noted this is an updated and edited review: the seller reached out to us after the initial review and sent us a replacement for free - but frankly we wanted to wait and use the product for a stretch before updating this review. There was no point in retracting what was true before if we couldn’t attest that it was, in fact, a one time fluke. We can confidently now say it was and this product is fantastic. We’ve used it three times for traveling and once for a quick fix when we needed to crate our dog and didn’t feel like moving his crate from the lower level. It’s still going strong and since we’ve been able to use it multiple times, all the features we listed in our original review have been very helpful and enhance the user experience for the better! Our dog is very comfortable and content in it, the frame and fabric are still in good shape with no bending or sagging, the zippers don’t tug at all, and it’s easy to clean inside and out. If you have a dog that is already crate trained, you could easily replace a standard metal crate with this; and if you have a dog that prefers their metal crate covered or secluded for that den-like experience, this would be a great option especially for the price. We plan on ordering a second one within the year just to have a back up on hand should we ever have a need for it. All in all, it’s a good product, they provided good customer service, and we do recommend this crate.This has all the makings of being a fantastic crate, but it is not chewproof unfortunately. It took less than a few hours for the front facing zipper to be fully chewed through and this isn’t by a large or particularly chew-loving dog. The zipper is plastic and the teeth were bent out. Once that happened, it was a done deal. We bought this to travel with and missed our return window, otherwise we would have given it one more shot because of all the features we did love (durable fabric, easy to assemble and transport, attractive design, multiple entry points) and hoped we just got a fluke.

Very nice, well built travel kennel. Easy to set up, easy to fold up and store. The canvas is sturdy, zippers work well.

This crate was recommended by 2 of our friends with dogs. It is super light and portable, and the dark screen made our dog feel secure inside. It is quick and easy to set up and folds up nicely for storage and transport. The zipper track on ours ripped when our dog came running out of the crate when letting him out. The crate is not really usable when this happens. The company was great and refunded us even though it was after our return period. The process was easy to get a refund and we are very grateful for them being so generous. It is worth 5 stars if our first one hadn't gotten a small tear. We are getting another one with the refunded money. If you get it, make sure your dog won't try to break out when being zipped in or out.

So I was silly enough to guessimate using the pictures on the ads for these soft crates. I have a young lab and although I know he is tall and lanky, I saw some pictures of other labs in a smaller crate, so I went with the L at first...he looked like the giraffe on the zoo train. He only used the crate to sleep in at night while we were guests at a friend's house, so he was fine. Crate time is down time for him, I opted to get this XL for him. MUCH BETTER. If your dog gets anxious or will dig their way out of a crate, I wouldn't recommend these soft crates, but our guy knows he won't be in there long so he doesn't fret. These are super light and impressibly sturdy!

Why did you pick this product vs others?:We bought two of the 36" long ones to transport 2 cats cross country on a move. The longer size easily fit a cat bed and a litter box inside, but also fit in the minivan and even on hotel carts. Love the zipper locks included. One handle broke after 3 days of lifting it in and out of car with cat inside, but it's okay anyway.

lightweight and easy to collapse and carry. I have similar crates that I prefer, due to better and faster assembly and set up. I am not a fan of the twist to screw on that this crate has. I prefer designs where the final two poles pop into place.

It was great for travel, compact and collapsible nice for dog to sleep in, until my dog chewed the zipper 🙄
