Frank and Sal Italian Sweet Chestnuts Castania Chestnuts Fresh 2 Pounds 50/70 Calibre

It has been years since I had Fresh Chestnuts , I was trilled to find some that could be shipped to my home .They held up well with a close eye on them for spoilage . Unlike some I have bought in the stores .I will be buying these again .

the chestnuts were not fresh. they were horrible.. few days later they turned moldy. expected them to be great and such a expensive price.. no response from seller.. do not buy

very expensive, some of the nuts had bitter green mold in them.... ich way to many like 20 percent.

These chestnuts were fresh. "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, Jack Frost nipping at my nose---" ... I had never roasted OR tasted chestnuts-- this was the year to change that.. They were delicious!! I think they belong at every celebration...

too much money for these chesnuts

These chestnuts are awful. Spent money on expensive nuts to make chestnut dressing for Thanksgiving. First year in 41 years we had NO chestnut dressing. After cooking, you coukd not peel the nuts. The skin was impossible to get off. Have never had this problem before. And then, well over half the nuts were rotten! Do not waste your money.

Bad when receiving this product

Very good chestnuts, Large size, found only 3 bad nuts out of this order. Will look to order more in the future from this supplyer.
