You don't need to go on suffering
I have lost count over how many people I have recommended this book to, or given away copies. Reports keep coming back about how effective it is. You can be suffering with a back problem for months or even years and conclude there's either no solution or only an operation will help, or you must keep going to Osteopaths acupuncturists and so on. They all either permanently damage you, or create dependency. This book takes you step by step to a better life. Do not underestimate how much of an impact it can make. Since the author is dead, I would love to just give you a copy, but this review should get the message across.

I haven't used the Shoulder exercise book yet, but have been using the general back exercises from another McKenzie book. The exercises are very useful, my back has seen more improvement than when I saw an Osteopath. It's good to be able to treat yourself and free! Book worth the fairly small price, compared to paying others to treat your back. It's important to read all of the book, before trying the exercises straight away.

Helpful and well illustrated.
Was suggested by our gp while I waited for hospital physio appointments for long-standing shoulder injury plus recent further damage - this book is probably best used under supervision, but was I foound it helpful as long as I heeded the warning not to 'push through pain'.

Great little book
Really pleased with this latest book purchase. I now have all 4 the the ‘treat your own back, neck....etc’ series. If you follow the exercises and advice they are wee gems for self-treatment or general maintenance

Understand how to help yourself
I have all three books for neck ,back & shoulder. Very good advice, relieves pain & improves movement when followed ! Worth every penny !
