Artum Hill Upholstered Bed With Tufted, Padded Headboard, And Platform-Style Base

Don't be put off by the price of this bed. I had it in my cart for a good year or so before finally telling myself that I could do so much more with my money if I got this over the $1000 bed I was looking at on a competitor's website. I thought it would be cheap or falling apart. Not the case. This bed has been fantastic! It is quite and sturdy. The color adds a nice pop to my grey room, and the fabric has been durable despite one of my cats climbing it on a regular basis. I have received so many complements on it. It is slightly challenging to put together as the instructions are terrible, but if you've ever put together other furniture, it is not the worst assembly in the world. It takes about an hour to put together as virtually nothing is put together in the box. I bought an open box item and got the bed for under $200. I have zero regrets. I might even buy one in the lighter color for my spare bedroom!I used a 12 inch mattress and 5 inch low profile box spring (purchased on Amazon), and the mattress sits exactly where I would want it to. Any lower and it would show a gap at the headboard, higher it would obstruct too much of it in my opinion.

I was skeptical about buying a bed with no reviews, but I took a chance, and it paid off. I had a tight budget to make over my room, and I wanted blue velvet since my cat scratches just about everything else. Putting it together took about 1.5 hours with the help of my husband. It was weird that the side of the bed folds when it's shipped, but the wood reinforcements helps make it sturdy. I love that the headboard can be put against the wall with no space wasted... It saved me about 2 feet in front of my bed. The blue is beautiful, and the material is so soft. The bed is sturdy and doesn't rock... My husband and I weight more than 400 together, and this bed is sturdy, so it's perfect for those of us on the heavy side. I'm overall very happy with it, and I highly recommend it!*Update 4/07/2022.One of the legs that holds the weight on the sides broke within a year. I had to get those bed risers you can stack, and use it to support the weight. I wouldn't buy this bed again, or any other bed where the frame sides come bent in the box, and the side needs support. The frame itself is still beautiful after all these years, and the headboard has held up to my 2 cats scratching it. No holes. I plan on changing the bed this year, so all in all, eh.

For the price I paid, I am in shock at how beautiful this bed is. It could have cost much much more than what I paid. The blue is stunning and the velvet looks luxurious. The bed is solid with not wiggling or squeaking when I move on it. Putting it togher: The instructions are terrible, but parts and pictures looks pretty straight forward for most folks to figure it out. It took two people about an hour to put together. My tip is this... there is a lot of Allen wrench action when putting this together, I would suggest buying a real one instead of using the little one they give you for free, this will make it much easier to put together. My husband actually had an Allen Wrench attachment on his drill and that made it a breeze.

The footboard was marred and we needed the bed for guests coming in. We wanted a replacement of just the footboard but the company would only send a new whole bed. We settled on a small discount offered by amazon. Not really what we wanted, and we could have just taken the footboard out of the new bed, but it's the holidays and we have too much going on. Otherwise the bed is really gorgeous and a great value. Could easily be a Parisienne vibe. Neutral gender. Glam.

Well.. I’m a little disappointed because the bed came with a missing piece. That’s why I dropped one star but overall is a beautiful bed and I’ll try to find a place to get that missing piece. I’m missing the peg as you can see in the first picture posted, if anyone knows where to find one, let me know. I give 4 stars cause the headboard is beautiful, the bed feels sturdy so far and I finally have a bed in the height I want. Overall I’m still happy with my purchase. For sure you need a box spring but if you want it lower ask for the shorter box spring.

I am extremely happy with my purchase! I bought this for my king size Tempur Pedic mattress with an adjustable base and it fits perfectly! I shared a photo with the head of the bed raised to show it is still fullly functional. For those who have a tempur pedic base, I have the base legs adjusted with two column segments high. With the base set to that height and mattress 12” thick, it sits perfectly against the headboard (see photo). Since I have the tempur pedic base, I obviously didn’t use the platform slats to sit my mattress on, but I will say it feels very sturdy. It was easy to put together by myself. The navy color is beautiful and exactly what I wanted. Overall, this is a high quality bed frame and headboard for a GREAT price. I highly recommend!!

Beautiful blue. I love it. Easy to assemble. I'm a do it myself kinda girl so I couldnt wait for my husband to get home and do it. Box is heavy so I dragged in but ripped open. So I just brought it in piece by piece. My 5 year old helped me out. Instructions were easy to follow but my paper was a little faded and a little hard to see. One of the legs had a little damage I guess from all the bumping on the way. One of the pieces did looked rusty. But it worked. I recommend a box spring. I really loved it. And I was able to put it together in about 2 hrs with the help of my 5yr old.

Okay first off. I was so excited to finally get the bed frame I wanted because my husband hate the girl bedroom items but it was a little masculine so I got away with it. I am so upset because my box came ripped and open, parts were coming out. The delivery driver said he lost one screw because it fell out the box. I had to go to home depot to replace that. My leg was broken and I am just so upset. I’ll write another review regard the assembly and the conditions of the material. I’m still excited just disappointed.

Beautiful frame, great quality and sturdy. I thought that the headboard would be thicker, more cushioning, but other than that amazing buy for the price!

Beautiful bed and affordable price!

We buy a lot of items that we assemble ourselves, and have never had this many issues.the bed had misaligned holes, and we literally had to drill holes ourselves, but it will never be a snug fit, and the bed now shakes a lot. Yes I could have returned it but it took so long to get it up and into our apartment that we really did not have the energy to return the whole thing and do it all over. You can not even just return the pieces that are damaged and re-order those. Most furniture companies allow doing that but they do not. Overall bad is fine, the back is not as comfy as we thought but I would have been very happy with this bed (considering the price), had it not have factory issues. How does this get past quality control?

This bed is garbage! First it came in a ripped up box and was left in the snow, leaving some minor stains. Then while assembling it, found it was missing some of the hardware. It also does not have enough slats nor is it sturdy. Within 6 months of purchase, I was already needing to buy a whole new bed cause it was falling apart!
