Was very hesitant to finally decide on which brand of chalk markers to purchase, but I have no regrets! If you notice in the two photos, one shows the colors written on a chalk board after multiple kids using for almost 3 months now, not putting the caps back on always, but the color REALLY shows up way better than I could ever had hoped! Also, the tip can be used as chisel point or rounded point. The only complaints I really do have that is necessary to mention, is that when you want to change the tip point, you literally have to pull it out with your finger and thumb, flip it over and stick it back into the holder. That part alone is the only messy part of it. You can see the full size of the baby blue chalk marker tip in the first photo. It’s very short. And lastly, the most annoying thing about this product for sure is that the instructions show on the marker itself (in the 2nd photo) 1-Shake, 2-Push, 3-Write, 4-Recap. Step 1 is absolutely a workout for the arms, it took myself and husband to shake every single chalk marker, each one had to be shook (FOREVER!) and pushed/pressed(pressing the tip of marker onto chalk board to help the color dispense fully into the chisel/pointed marker piece) which is btw completely white and you will know it’s ready to use when the entire piece has completely been filled with color. Other than the initial process of getting each and every single chalk marker shook and pushed, they are absolutely beautiful colors. Sometimes if they go awhile w/o being used or if a cap was left off for awhile, you will have to do steps 1&2 again to have more of the color drain into the marker point since it had dried from previous inactivity. They work on chalkboards, white erase boards (just as bright and beautiful in color) & mirrors/windows/glass. I personally like drawing with the rounded end. I hope this full review helps anyone out looking for chalk markers that have reallyyyyy great color and durability to them! I will order more of this exact brand if they have a very fine tipped option for my own calendar use!

Have a chalkboard calendar near the door with a rough chalkboard surface, but I'd gotten worried about how many chalk pen reviews stated they were only one time use suitable because they didn't erase. I needed to be able to change this out every month but still have something more visible that the grandparents could read too. These are very visible, very easy to write with, and also very easy to clean (I only needed a little water and a towel to wipe it clean). I have not tried the metallics yet, but the regular colors work greatETA: The light blue doesn’t work, it just comes out as runny water. The metallics look great. My chalkboard has white calendar template lines on it, and the red chalk pen permanently discolors those lines if it touches them, but seems to be the only one that does that.

The markers are fat and have a 2 sided tip that is chiseled on one end. If you pull the tip out and flip it, the other end is round and you just push it back into the marker. Neither end seems to have a fine tip. If you don't need a fine tip then this may work for you. At first you do have to push down on the felt tip to release the flow of the ink. The colors are bright. I needed a smaller marker with a fine tip for a refrigerator calendar so this didn't work for me. But overall a great marker.

Works great with liquid chalk marker boards, wouldn’t recommend putting it on regular chalkboards, takes a little bit of time to “prime” them being they come with a dry tip but after you get them primed they work awesome! Double sided tip also, for fine writing or bold!

We bought a weekly calendar chalkboard from Hobby Lobby and we use these to write/draw on it. The markers take a little elbow grease to prime, but look great once you get them going. I write what we're having for dinner and then draw a low-quality, sometimes funny picture of the food or something related to it. Definitely impressed with their performance and we have fun with them. Like any paint, some colors are easier to wipe off than others, but if it becomes difficult I just use a little rubbing alcohol and it's gone.

These are great, vibrant colors. Using on a household chalkboard by tweens and they love them. Make sure you remember to shake and press a few times until the colors are absorbed by the tips. They do not run and seem to dry pretty quickly. They clean off pretty good with a wet towel.

DO NOT USE ON CHALK TYPE BOARDS! It states this on the packaging, designed for harder nonporous materials such as plastic or glass type mediums. With that said, these are great, especially for the price. Nice chiseled end for broad strokes and a pointed end for fine writing. Once primed they write well, just follow the directions on the package, very few there, but easily read. Cleans up well also. Colors show up vibrant on black puck board I used them on.

This great for all chalkboard junkies like me. The colors are thick and vibrant. They last a long time. The tips are not frayed. My kids use them also for window art. They easily wash right off with no trace of color left over. We love them.
