Great for a cruise to Antarctica
This showed us all we needed of the various animals we encountered on a recent trip to Antarctica and Patagonia. Durable plastic coated, easy to fold up for pockets or backpack. Easily helped differentiate between similar birds and penguin species

Durable and Waterproof
It was especially handy for identification of the seabirds and near shore birds. A helpful reminder later when you are reviewing your photos (even if a naturalist told you the name at the time).

Great and easy to use !!!
This is a very handy reference card. It’s sturdy, easy to use, bright colors, organized well, and good info without a lot of extra detail most will not need or use. It is great to have both during a visit to Antarctica and after getting back home as I look through pictures & notes. Highly recommend getting one of these! I’m ordering the Arctic version next.

Informative with great pictures
Includes pictures and short descriptions of birds, fish, seals, whales and even a few plants. I like the back cover especially, which shows a map of seasonal ice coverage so I can see how it changes the apparent shape of the continent.

Concise Reference
One laminated fold-up card (approximately 5”X10”) with separate sections for sea lions, whales, birds, vegetation and penguins. Easy to fold, re-fold to consult subsets of information.

Identification made easy that fits in a pocket to take along
This will go with me on my trip. I've used one of these before and it really helps with identification of animals and birds. It is laminated and sturdy so will take a lot of handling in the field.

Good compact guide
Purchased as a gift for a friend who was on a research cruise down in Antarctica, she loved it and said it was really nice easy guide and kept her and her cabin mate occupied for a while each evening identifying the wildlife they had seen. It is compact so great for travelling.
