Awesome Kit! TO-GO: Best Brand of Bamboo Cutlery
I don't use metal silverware. Stainless steel contains nickel, a heavy metal that has negative consequences on the human body. I've therefore gone through different brands of bamboo forks and spoons over the years, until I found TO-GO. They are top-notch. I've never gotten warped or cracked utensils from this company. The forks have three sturdy wide tines, instead of the usual four flimsy close-together tines, so they are more comfortable in the mouth, are easier to clean, and they last longer. When your bamboo pieces are new, oil them well with a food-grade oil. (I use Andrew Pearce Premium Walnut Oil Bowl Conditioner.) After it soaks in for awhile, wipe off the excess. While a single coat keeps them from drying out and significantly extends their longevity, 2-3 coats is even better.******NOW, THIS SET.... Though I always have a bamboo fork and spoon at home for the meals I eat there, I wanted a little to-go kit. The fabric pouch has immaculate, neat stitching (love the mulberry purple color, by the way). I keep it in my daypack so that I always have healthy cutlery with me anytime I'm away from home. The kit takes up little space and wins compliments when I meet friends for lunch. Afterwards, I simply wash the utensils under warm water in the restroom sink, then dry them well with a paper towel before returning them to their pouch. The pouch has air space on the sides though, so even if the utensils were still slightly damp afterwards, they would continue to air dry.One warning, though... The knife is not serrated and has a curved blade, so while it is perfect for spreading condiments, it would be a disappointment for cutting things. Also, I don't personally use chopsticks, so I tossed mine into the compost heap, but they're a nice addition for those who do use them.

Fantastic Travel & Eco-friendly Utensils!
These are fantastic utensils that hold up so well and pair great with anyone willing to be more environmentally conscious! These beautifully replace plastic utensils in whatever: the spoon is deep enough to hold soup, the fork is durable enough to actually puncture food without it splintering, and the chopsticks are gorgeous! The only thing is the knife isn't rugged, so it really serves no purpose other than to maybe cut a softer or more tender food or to hold your food down. Otherwise, as a vegetarian, I don't need the knife, but this might be an issue. The travel case makes it so easy to throw in a backpack or purse to use whenever going out to eat. Every small plastic items counts, and by reducing your use of them, we can prevent SO much plastic from accumulating in our landfills and oceans. These are fantastic. Absolutely beautiful!I've had these for around 3 months and I have no splintering, despite using them almost everyday. I carry them in my book bag to use at lunch, and they are so light and take up almost no space. Please invest and help save our oceans and earth. These are amazing!

Amazing, earth-friendly stuff!
I love this couch so much. When i am without it I feel so guilty that i have to pick up plastic utensils if i'm eating out. It doesn't take that much space in your bag- it has the length of a sunglasses case. Cleaning the utensils are also super easy and quick to do. Soap and water, the usual. The fork picks up food really well and the spoon works really well to pick up chunky soups. I haven't tried using the spoon with a running kind of soup but I'm sure it would still hold a lot. The knife isn't that sharp so cutting required a little more force than regular forks. But other than that, I love everything about this product. it's beautiful, cute, and it helps keep the planet happy.

I absolutely love this kit in SO many ways with one major exception. I have two of these kits I purchased and use them daily. The carrying case is tough and durable and the perfect size. I hang it on my lunch box that I bring to and from from work. The utensils are smooth and a good fit in the hand. I love the chopsticks and spoon. The fork is doable and fine for what I need it for. However, the knife is less than par. It is shaped for right handed people use in the way it curves, it is not serrated making cutting anything nearly impossible, and it probably the most useless knife I have ever seen. It ultimately cuts nothing. Other than the knife this kit is easy to clean, store, use, and I am absolutely in love with it. The description is very accurate: Holder made of RPET, recycled plastic bottles and includes a handy carabinerHeat and stain-resistant, won't impart or absorb flavorsLightweight, strong and long lastingFinished with a top grade, food safe wood oilDishwasher safe, though we recommend hand-washing for longer life

Great alternative to single-use plastic
Durable, lightweight, easy to clean, and not made of plastic: those are some of the key reasons it is worth having one or more of these utensil sets with you whether you are taking it to work, traveling, or back-packing.Certainly no one expects these utensils to replace metal ones needed for certain foods, but for most fare these will work. They case clips to anything, so it is easy to hook and carry. Not having to grab then toss single-use plastics forks, spoons, and knives when I have this kit along makes me feel like I am at least doing something to stop the world's oceans and beaches from filling with plastic waste. ( if you like about the problem on many websites, and a good starting point for me was The Drifters Project at http://driftersproject.net/about/.)I plan to buy a number of sets of these reusable bamboo utensils as gifts. And they make a great starting point for a conversation about plastic pollution if you are so inclined when someone asks you about them. Read more

Smooth, sturdy, and good price
I had a TOGO bamboo set for years and got tired of using the same set, so I got two more, and use them on the regular. I have a tendency to bite the cutlery, and after chipping a tooth I opted for this safer option! The bamboo is smooth and I've had no issues w spinters, etc. Worth the price for a good quality product.

Durable bamboo set
I've had two other sets by TOGOWARE that I received almost a decade ago, and we use them all the time for outdoor eating and traveling. They have stood the test of time really well. We always handwash them (as you should with wood stuff). I bought another set for my little guy, so that he could have a matching set with ours!

Love this To-Go Ware
Love this To-Go Ware. Have had my own for a few years...doesn't stain, has held up really well-the cutlery and the case. Also feels really good not to use plastic disposable cutlery. Bought this for a friend.
