Not just for tubs and showers!
I didn't buy these for the shower. The floor in the narthex of our church has 24" Sq mostly white tiles. The feet on the kick down door stops would just slide across the smooth surface.I placed one of these in each of the spots where the door would rest at 90 degrees to the door jamb, and they work perfectly to keeps the doors in position.I figure, as they are designed for a wet, frequently cleaned surface they should stand up well to the weekly moping by our sexton. And Bonus, for not much money I have 20 left over to try in our shower at home :-)

Easy to install and effective non slip on smooth tub.
This is my second set of these textured anti slip stickers. The first set were still effective but eventually got stained with soap and water stains etc. They peel off and stick on without any drama or special tools. They adhere to my smooth porcelain finish shower bathtub very well and withstood hundreds of hot showers soap and shampoo and never moved. This time I bought the bright blue discs so there's no doubt where they're located. If you or kids plan to use the tub as a bath tub, you're probably going to "notice" the rough texture on your behind, and may want to sit on a small towel.I don't know how well these would adhere to a textured tile shower floor

These do work, but I eventually gave up.
Recently I had a new tub and surround installed, and the tub has a textured floor. I thought this would be great, only to discover that said texturing is just as slippery as any non-textured tub. I'm 61 and not that steady on my feet, and I live alone. I tried suction floor mats but they would not adhere, thanks to that texturing. I thought about getting a large tub mat designed for refinished/textured tubs but they're pretty expensive. There's paint for tub floors but I was hesitant to try it because I worried I might ruin the brand-new tub. So - after reading review after review, I decided to try these - inexpensive and fairly easy to remove if they didn't work, and large enough to have a decent adhesive area. I'm not going to need to remove them. Now, I'm a bit of a clean freak. When I had the bathroom renovation done I got a hand-held shower head installed. I don't use bar soaps but body washes, and after each shower, I use the hand-held to thoroughly rinse down all traces of suds and soap from the doors, walls, and the tub itself. I have an inverted kitchen sink mesh strainer basket over the tub drain to use as a hair catcher (it's a finer mesh than the plastic hair catchers sold for that purpose) and I can see the suds as they rinse down the drain - when the water runs clear, I get out. Only takes a couple of minutes. Once out, I wipe down the walls, doors, and tub and loosely dry off the standing water in the door tracks and the tub itself. I use a commercial spray bathtub cleaner once a week, and rinse everything off with the hand-held once more. So there wasn't a lot of cleaning needed before I stuck these down; in addition, I gave the discs 48 hours instead of the 24 recommended. They've been PERFECT.They're just rough enough to give me a wonderful sense of safety as I'm turning around and stepping back and forth in the shower, but not at all uncomfortable (at least for showering - I don't take official sit-down baths, so I can't speak to that). I chose the transparent and they are LITERALLY that - once down, you really have to LOOK to see them (at least on my white tub). The adhesion is terrific, even keeping in mind that the stuck area is not 100% of the surface of the disk (thanks to the tub texturing). They DO NOT MOVE.Thus far, they have not shown any signs of collecting dirt along their edges or any indication of mildewing. Again, I keep to a decent cleaning regimen to ensure that there's no soap scum buildup, but these disks exceeded my expectations. I put down 22 out of the 24, keeping 2 in case of damage or adhesion problems with one or two of the mounted disks - but I'm seeing absolutely no sign that they'll be needed for that purpose. Again, since this is a textured tub (and since the disks are the transparent ones) the disks do not appear to have complete and total adhesion across their surfaces when you examine them closely (following the texturing) and the amount of adhesion seems to vary depending on which ones you were stepping on at any given time after a shower - but they're not coming up. I waited a few weeks after installing these to give them a decent workout, and I'm now comfortable with the adhesion and the product. Well worth the money. If they work this good for a textured tub, they'll be fabulous for a traditional smooth tub surface as well.UPDATE as of July 2021 - Well, having a textured tub is both a blessing and a curse. The curse part comes because the stickers, while they don't come off by themselves, also don't have 100% adhesion due to the channels created by the texturing. Soap scum and dirt find their way into those channels, though, and I could SEE the buildup in the channels through the transparent disks after a few months. By the end of June, I'd had enough - it looked awful - and ordered new Secopads. The blessing part is that lack of 100% adhesion means there are plenty of edges in which to fit the little scraper that the company ships with the stickers and I had all 22 stickers up and off the tub in minutes, easy peasy, with no damage to the tub. Scrubbed the daylights out of the tub (even using a bleach solution to remove the last of the scummy stains). Dried the tub, slapped down the new stickers, and waited 24 hours before the next shower - and once again, the new ones are adhering well with none coming up. One additional thing - yes, the clear ones DO yellow. That became obvious as I was ripping them off the tub - I realized that not all of the darkened appearance was due to dirt and soap scum. Some of the darkening was due to yellowing - so keep that in mind if you buy the clear ones. I will continue to buy the clear ones because I want to know when that buildup occurs under the stickers so I can replace them again; it's a small price to pay for my security when showering and also my hygienic sensibilities. I am still pleased with the product overall.UPDATE as of May 2022 - I've grown tired of removing and replacing these. At 62 it's getting harder to get down on my knees and scrape these up, and while I still stand by their utility and adhesion the scum that collects underneath through the texture channels is not pleasant. I've removed them for the last time and have replaced them with this: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B099RFMG1V/ref=twister_B08NJNK2SR?_encoding=UTF8&th=1 I just used that bath mat today - I like it - and will review that later.

No slip or sliding
These dots go down easily in the bottom of my shower. Since they’re dots I spread them out so my foot is always standing on one and I don’t worry about “slip & slide”. They work great

Great life saver if you have slippery floors.
I purchased this from my brother and he easily installed them. He likes the dark color and there were enough for the area he needed.
