Good for someone who loves cooking
I bought this book out of love for the movie Julie & Julia. It really is a good choice for someone who is into baking and likes to try new tastes.

:) Hardcover edition :)Brought this on jan 2018 because watched the movie Julie & Julia a biographical film on television, (finished on 10th march 21)This is not really a book to "finish". I will come back to this over and over. Its excellent. I made mushroom soup, french onion soup, and cassoulet. By the by, if you look it up on you tube there is an entire series that corresponds to these recipes that she didMore over .Julia takes you through the basics--how to stock your kitchen, how to chop a mushroom, how to make a quiche, how to roast a chicken, etc. The book is a staple for a dinner party...or to answer a random question that comes up about food♥️I love adding wine in mayonnaise ♥️The best recipe book I have ever had! No competition for Julia Child :) Recipes are so precise and tested. You can trust this book♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️

This book is exactly what I expected, and was very well received as a gift. The recipes are old fashioned and fussy, as we knew they would be, but the techniques and flavours are excellent.

A versão mais barata, sem capa dura, tem um material muito, mas muito vagabundo. Sei que a diferença de preço é gritante, mas fiquei decepcionada. Se eu soubesse que seria assim, teria gasto mais e comprado o de capa dura...

Muito bom. Livro bem detalhado no que toca as receitas e as técnicas utilizadas. Um livro bem old school com o que de melhor a cozinha francesa tem para oferecer. Recomendo
