Little Lederhosen Infant Costume Medium-(12-18 Months)

I ordered a Large for my 12 month old (23/24 lbs, 29/30 inches). I was worried it was going to be much too big, but it fit okay and was only a little big. The snaps didn't stay snapped throughout the night though, so you might need safety pins. The quality is just okay for a $15-$20 costume. My baby wouldn't wear the hat, but it was quite crushed and wrinkled anyway. I attached a picture of the sizing from the packaging. Hope that helps!

The outfit, warning does not come with shoes or socks as pictured, in case you were wondering. That being said the outfit is cute and was the hit of the party. My son was 10 months about 22lbs and 29inchs; I ordered the 12-18 size and it fit him perfect, however, the hat was way to big, covered his whole head, face and chin..lol. So he didn't wear it.The sippy cup doesn't come with the costume either, it is just a sticker that you can apply to your own sippy cup. however, mine had creases in it because of how it wrapped around my son's cup. For the price can't beat it. The fabric is a big nylon feeling, very similar to most halloween costume type fabric. But made it through the whole night with no tears, rips, stains, or holes.

Like everyone else states the onesie is very cute. I got stopped so many times at Oktoberfest to tell me how cute my little guy was in his lederhosen. However the hat has very little to be desired. The size is huge and the quality is garbage. My kid loves hats and I think even he was embarassed by it because he kept taking it off. Pay attention to thr size chart. My son is 7 months old and 17lbs. I got him the xs and it fit great!

I have an 11 lb 5 week old who wears primarily 3 month clothes. In addition, his head is in the 100% percentile. I ordered the 0-3 month size which is actually labeled XS. My child swam in the hat and was too small for the costume too. We put some thick Jammies on underneath and made the costume work for Oktoberfest. It gets three stars because it is super adorable! It is cheap material but they aren't wearing it long enough to matter. The ribbon now might be an issue depending on the age of your baby. My child doesn't put things in his mouth yet but I found him inadvertently sucking on it a couple times.

Bought this for my toddler to wear for a Oktoberfest themed party that we went to and it was a pain to try to keep on. I have a feeling that it would work for babies who do not crawl or walk yet, but as soon as my son took a step in it the buttons would snap apart at the bottom. The whole night I tried to re-snap the bottom portion to no success. The hat is also very flimsy and HUGE. It barely fit on my head. It is cute for a picture maybe, but not worth the price.

So I actually bought this for my dog. We are going to an Oktoberfest themed fundraiser for the local human society and he needed some lederhosen. I got the largest size and was pleasantly surprised that it is styled just like a onesie with snaps on the legs. This makes putting it on my dog very easy. He’s a Dachshund/Golden Retriever mix so he’s too long for the legs but I just tuck those up into the top and voila! He’s ready for Oktoberfest!

Our son wore this to an Oktoberfest Party and he got tons of compliments and "oohhh's" and "awwww's."I ordered a medium and our son is about to turn a year old. He's 23lbs and this fit him, but was kind of loose and large. It clearly worked though, because our Family won the brewery's costume contest.As for quality, it is that synthetic costume type material, but it held up just fine and works for what it is.Oh and our son actually really liked the hat, but it was too hot to have him wear it the entire time. And the costume did come with the "sippy stein" sticker. It was in the bag with the hat.I'm pretty happy with the costume. It is, after all, a costume and not an authentic pair of lederhosen. So maybe I just had lower expectations than some of the other reviewers.

Thankfully, we only needed it for a two week period for my cousins oktoberfest birthday party and then halloween. Definitely recommend, just wish it wasn't so small/tight. My son is in the 75% for a 17th month old at the time and we struggled to get him in it on Halloween (two weeks later). Would definitely recommend, just think about going a size up.

It's okay...would have been better for less money.
