Great Glove-Recommend Them
I've had cow hide, pig hide and goat skin gloves and none have stood up very long handling wood. I handle a lot of wood since it's my primary heat source, and I cut, split and haul it all. These buffalo grain gloves are holding up extremely well, no evidence of abrasion. They are also very comfortable and flexible and remain so even if they get wet from snow. I am sold on buffalo grain. The only downside is that they are not all that warm. They are Thinsulate lined but can't find the rating anywhere and think it's pretty low. Warm enough when working wood but not so much with lower activity chores.

detailed review
5 stars and fit as expected. 5 stars is for the customer service. 4.5 stars for the quality of the leather and warmness during my trip to Flagstaff. They held up to the cave hiking and other activities I did and even tho they are cream colored they surprisingly didn't get during climbing the rocks. cons: square fingers but still not that bad. I'm glad I bought them. I had a problem with one it the two gloves which customer service well the seller (the glove company themselves) promptly and professionally took care of. unfortunately the replacement was worst than the first and it was also the right hand which is very bizzare. I'll still use them for driving. if u want to stay warm get the lines, if u want more control get the non lined. they fit absolutely perfect. I am 6'2" 165 and got the Large xL

These are not great quality.
The original 3M thinsulate gloves I have are much better texture, thickness and overall quality. I use them for work as you can see in my video. These new glaves are less than half the thickness and do not have the insulation I come to expect from a genuine 3M product. Next time I am going to spend the extra to purchase in-store. I feel like I've been had. I do not recommend this product for anyone needing quality gloves for real work. I am going to have to get another pair just to replace these. Leather thickness is about half of the original, insulation same thing. I use mine in the electrical field of work and these do not make the cut as usable work gloves. ...sorry for the rant. Hope this was helpful for any future buyers. Go get the real thing.

Follow the fitting instructions and the fit will be true. Warm, comfortable, pretty soft. I would buy them again.

Good gloves but...
Gloves are good quality and are as expected. They do however run smaller. If you wear a large l, get an XL.

Comfortable fairly lightweight gloves
We ordered several pairs of the XL size. They are quite comfortable and the leather seems to give about the amount you would want it to. The gloves are fairly light in relation to "normal" work gloves. All the fellows in this family have good sized hands and these fit. The one thing I might mention is that there is some variation from pair to pair in the size. Some are more tight, particularly in the fingers and some are pretty close to perfect. We bought quite a few so mix and match works for us. Have not really had a chance to see how they hold up to actual work. While it has cooled off in Maine in terms of weather we will have to see if they are warm enough for outside work during the winter. We like the fact that there is no knitted cuff to interfere with a jacket/coat when you are working outside. They are actually white in color. So far we like them.
