2016 Mustang Convertible
Very easy to install. I’m a senior citizen with no mechanical experience. Snap out and unplug the old then snap in and plug in the new. Once installed I started my car and plugged in my phone and Apple Play was displayed on my screen it’s that easy! Great DIY value

Failed after 1 year
Worked great for about a year then about a 2 months ago it would only commect and show CarPlay sometimes which was pretty annoying. Well now the module doesn’t even work it charges my phone sometimes but doesn’t even register my phone or CarPlay. Says product is out of stock upon writing review. Good. Should not ever be back in stock to keep somebody else from wasting their money and time installing a plastic paperweight. Would not recommend or ever buy again.

Did exactly what I needed
I updated the stereo in my Mustang. And I gained Carplay once I swapped out my existing USB dark for this updated part number. It worked exactly as I expected and intended. I would recommend this item.

Might need an adapter
Pending at 3 stars. If you’re going to install this in a 2015 Mustang you need an adapter. Adapter has been ordered, I’ll finish review upon install.

Works great. Worth $50 for CarPlay. 2016 Focus ST
Worked great. Popped out the old USB, popped this in and now my 2016 Focus ST has CarPlay. Would recommend. Easy install.

It Works
Although there are some glitches, this product was easy to install and works 98.77% of the time and I am definitely happy with the purchase.
