BambooMama Women's Birthing Wrap - for Pregnancy, Labor and Nursing

I don't know why this robe doesn't have more reviews out there. I was very skeptical about buying this robe because of the lack of information. I really did not want to wear the hospital gown for a week (I was having a planned c-section so I knew I'd need something easily accessible for the doctors/easy on my incision) I did not wear this during the actual surgery/birth, but I put it on on a few hours after. And boy am I glad I bought this! I wore it the whole 5 days I was there and then I immidiantly washed it and wore it at home. After birth your body has a lot of excess fluids and whatnot and you get really hot!! This robe breathed very well, it was amazing! As far as size I got a medium, I'm 5'2, pre pregnancy I weighed 130 and at the end of pregnancy I weighed almost 180! I'm glad I went with the medium, it very soft and comfy. I will definitely be wearing this around around the house, and finding other uses for it. Would definitely buy next time.

Liked it, but overpriced. I'm 5'5" 165lbs, my pre preg was 135-140lbs. I'm 9 months pregnant. It hits at my knee. Stays closed because of interior button. Ordered size medium and fits just right. Pockets add bulk and made me look wider. It's so comfortable I don't care. Ordering another even though I hate paying so much for it. There's nothing else like it. If you don't want to pay the price, check out jockeys selection of cotton robes. They come in different styles such as long and 3/4 sleeves and also long and short length. I love them almost as much. I have the jockey robe in "short" length with 3/4 sleeves that hits at my knee like this robe does. That would be a good less expensive alternative.

This robe is okay, but not great.The fabric is very nice, quite soft and comfortable. The color is also pretty and flattering. It is quite comfortable as well, and I like that it has short sleeves so I can still stay covered but don't have to worry about sleeves getting in the way while I am cooking.The fit is not very flattering. It also runs rather large. I got it when I was 31 weeks pregnant, and had ordered the smaller of the sizes I was trying to decide between because of warnings from a previous review, but still found I could go at least a size smaller. I had been hoping to wear it postpartum, but I may be swimming in it not long after the baby is born. I find the elastic & button closure on the inside troublesome, it's not hard to use, but takes longer to undo with one hand than I would like. I also find where the lines on it fall to be annoying & find myself adjusting the front chest area often.Bottom line, I don't hate it nor am I planning to return it, but I would not have bought it if I had been able to try it on in the store.

After wearing a hospital gown for 24 hours it was so nice and soothing to slip into something soft and cozy. Made me feel like a human again after giving birth. Now that I am home with our little one I love wearing this for breast feeding. I also wore it when I was still pregnant and it was cozy then too!So hard to know what to and not to buy this for me is a must have for the delivery room! Will likely be my go to gift for my mom to be friends 🤗

I bought this for the birth of my son. I didn’t wear it during my Csection (obviously) but it was the first thing I put on after surgery! I was so sick and this was the comfiest thing ever.I still wear it around the house if I’m relaxing or getting ready, or out of the shower. It’s so comfortable.I went back and forth on so many different ones. So glad I settled on this one! I was not disappointed.

I was so happy to have this in the hospital to put on the day after I delivered and was able to shower. It stays closed with an inside button with a stretchy tab and ties like a robe. Makes it easy to breastfeed and looks more like a dress than anything else. I wish they came in more patterns and colors! Would also make a great “delivery/new mommy gift”.

I am not sure why this one doesn't have better reviews. Came in mail today and fits great! It is super soft material and has side pockets too. The inner strap is adjustable with a button, outer strap ties on side. I forsee the button coming loose eventually but can easily be sewn back on. I did not care for the price tag however with how pleased I am with it, it is worth the price. So many gowns/robes are too hot this one is absolutely perfect.

Love this. Bought it for my labor and delivery. I would have bought XL, but after reading reviews opted for L. So happy.This is a nice, soft and durable bamboo cotton.The wrap looks put together enough to have guests in the hospital after birth. I bought a robe to cover, but I may not even need it.The design makes breastfeeding, skin to skin contact and exams easily accessible.I will buy another so I can use it at home after the baby is born.

Great fit - chose my pre-pregnancy size and it fits just nicely. Material is nice and soft, its breathbility makes you feel fresh. However, taller ladies might find this robe a bit too short - I am 173 cm tall and I feel that it could be a tiny bit longer. Otherwise, a great product, though pricey!

I love this dress! Didn't manage to use it for labour but used it afterwards for skin-to-skin and nursing. The only problem is that after a few washes the colour starts fading away. I like the idea of it being a wrap but the quality of the birthing shirt is much better.

This wrap is wonderful! It is a good soft jersey material. It is not too light and not too heavy. I wore it in the hospital before and after the birth of my daughter. The dark color is great too, considering that it might get dirty. It washes well and dries quickly. It is great for breast feeding access too.

I bought a size smaller so it fit me very well. It was really useful right after birth.
