It's a super simple, rugged phone that trades in sleek designs, light weight, and fancy curves for functionality. If you're going to be depending on your phone in the worst conditions possible, this thing will not fail you. The speakers are LOUD, like I heard mine ring while I was 5 feet behind a running Kubota excavator, one of the big boys. The buttons are crisp, and I even managed them wearing my thick leather gloves on the job site.If you're looking for an app store, facebook, and all that other frilly crap, then go buy a smart phone. If you want a RUGGED phone that won't give up on you on the job that you'll hear no matter what's going on around you, believe me, this is the phone. Two jackhammers running right next to a tow behind air compressor is the only thing that ever drowned this phone's ringer out for me. (I purchased it for my time in the local Laborers Union. I wouldn't bring any other phone with me in that environment.)

My husband is old school and still uses a phone like this! Lol! He loves it, very durable great for in his workshop with dust and debris flying around not to mention the many times it’s been dropped. Great phone

So, I see why these phones are 39.99 on Amazon, they are crap. I see why Sonic discontinued this product. The key pad is to small for your fingers to dial anything and you can’t hear the person on that you are talking to but they are indestructible. Also customer service not helpful at all.

This phone is awesome! Yes its VERY BASIC! But for the recipient who is in the laborer profession who has a tendency to DROP their phone its a PERFECT PHONE! It is VERY durable, waterproof, and built well. The batter life is also really good. It doesn't do anything fancy but for calls and basic texts this is all you need! I'm very Pleased!

used as punishment for my son who’s on his iphone all the time. great in receiving phone calls. can send and receive text messages. does the basic job

My carrier is AT&T and the sim card isn't recognized . Also the back doesn't screw down at all on one side so its not waterproof . Tried emailing the company through the 90 day warranty card sent with this phone . The email provided no longer exists . Won't buy reconditioned again . Lesson learned

This substitutes for my IPhone when i’m out in the field as a carpenter. It’s survived a 25 foot fall onto a slate walkway, and a quick dunk in a client’s pool.

Battery that came with the phone lasts for about a day. Even after the instructions for full discharge and recharge for four cycles. Don’t buy. Junk and junk battery.
