Not up to the task
this grinder may be suitable for very light, occasional use, but is not for smokers who need to grind more than a few grams, occasionally. It is also unsuitable for herb that is not completely dried out (which I don’t like to smoke...).This grinder is not strong enough to crank through most herb. To get around it, one can start the grinder unscrewed and work it down to fully closed, and thus get a fairly decent grind, but that is also quit time consuming and tricky, because it’s not always easy to get the screw threads to line up while the grinder is going.Nevertheless, I was ok with these difficulties and limitations and would have given the product a 3 or 4 star rating, but the whole unit stopped working almost 30 days after the 30-day “return window.” Not sure if the motor burned out or the battery failed, but it stopped working completely...Using regular grinders has been hard on my arthritic hands, and so I was very excited to find an electric herb grinder. This grinder did not live up to expectations, and I wouldn’t recommend this product. The idea is sound, but the implementation is weak.
