Good enough but recommend getting higher quality drywall anchors
I had installed 2 of these. 1 on a 12" width and another on an 8" width. The drywall anchors are pretty cheap so I recommend using higher end anchors. The rod seems solid though. I also recomend screwing at least 1 or 2 screws into wood. Just make sure you measure for the wall screw spot, not the rod. If all screws were in wood, I could see it hold 50-75lbs but probably not as much if using drywall anchors. For installing, I recommend finding a stud then that will be 1 section of a rod. Then measure the rod placement on the wood and drill 1/2" STRAIGHT hole. Then drill the other hole in the wood that is in a good spot that supports the board and best if you can make it work to get it in a stud. Then screw the first rod into the wall. Then position the next rod in the wood then line it up with the rod in the wall and use a level to get the shelf level. Mark the 4 spots to drill. Then install the 2and rod into the wall. Final step is to push the wood shelf into the rods which does require some force.

Easy install and sturdy
These were easy to install and a lot cheaper than the kits that come with the wood. The pack comes with screws and drywall anchors. I predrilled holes into the studs of the wall and used my own screws for the ones I was able to place into a stud. I would recommend putting it into a stud with a wood screw if you are able rather than depending on the support from the drywall.-Simple and quick install- Substantially cheaper than sets that come with wood. (Assuming you have the tools to prepare the wood. Why 4 instead of 5 starts? There was a slight angle to a couple of the brackets that made my shelf a little slanted. It was a small amount off, but enough that I could notice but others wouldn't unless they were really looking or using a level.

Difficult to install in my application. Not satisfied.
Having these as individual posts makes installation extremely difficult, particularly when a wall has minor imperfections. One of the welds broke almost immediately.I don't think they're worth the price.Next time I will buy a mounting bracket that is full-length and has all the posts welded on.

poor assembly quality
Fully half the spot welds that support the pins to the mounting plate are broken. One of the four pins purchased is completely detached from the mounting plate, the remining three all have at least one cracked attachment weld.

Very cheaply made
Avoid these, they are very poorly made. The tiny spot welds they put on the mounting plate and the post break with very little pressure. I had 4 of 8 break and 2 of those had the post fall out. Really makes me nervous about putting any weight or anything of value on the shelf. Try another brand...

seem solid
seem like a solid bar, turned down on a lathe and machine welded to a plate. Definitely 0.5 in thick so plan accordingly. May be able to grind down and use smaller IF actuly solid.

Uneven mounted poles!
Garbage! You already need to supply your own anchors because the provided ones are cheap. The poles are not welded level onto the bases. After 2 attempts to balance my (unattached) shelf. The shelf along with my stuff slides off the uneven poles. Now I get to repair the 16 holes it’s created on my walls and start over. Save yourself the headache and look for better ones!

Not good quality
2 out of 8 have failed in short time and we haven't even put anything on the shelves! The weld is not strong enough for weight of dust let alone putting anything on them.
