Surprisingly Comfortable
I was skeptical at first, of this different style belt. However, I really wanted a new security belt with an inside zipper for traveling, to stash extra cash and copy of my passport. It is actually way nicer than a traditional belt, as you can adjust it to the perfect length without having to jump too far to the next hole.

So far, so very good (formerly: Wanted to love it)
UPDATE #2: OK, I added back another star, because the replacement they generously sent me seems very sturdy and dependable so far. I pulled and twisted the buckle far far more than what was necessary to unclasp the last one, and it still holds without feeling like one side or the other is giving way without pushing the button.Hopefully the first one was a fluke. But this one as yet is holding perfectly great, and the company was very responsive. And to re-iterate, the zipper compartment won't hold anything credit card-sized, but it's perfect for money folded in thirds, for bandaids, and for emergency numbers and info.UPDATE #1: The company contacted me to ask if they can replace the belt. I'm going to let them and give it a try. Because of that, and their promise to take a look and see if this is happening to the rest of their stock, I'll add a star. Once I get the replacement, if it doesn't have the same problem, I'll give full stars and consider the first one a fluke.ORIGINAL REVIEW:I really wanted to love this belt! I love the IDEA of the buckle, and for me, I don't mind at all the fact you have to take one end off when you switch pants. I mean c'mon, you only need to do it once a day. And the fact the buckle halves are bigger than most pant loops means if you have any weight on the belt (like from a Gerber multitool) it won't pull the belt out of the loops when unbuckled. However, the buckle would never stay latched securely. So often I'd be going about my day and the belt would just randomly unbuckle. Wouldn't even need to lean over or put stress on it. Just, POP! If it happened very rarely, I might keep it, but it was happening multiple times a day. Having to return it.Aside from that, the hidden pocket I thought was just fine. I've no problem folding bills in thirds. I even kept a packet of various band-aids and a laminated card with important phone numbers on it in there (because if anything ever happened to my cell, I'm toast. I have zero phone numbers memorized LOL)

Great money belt for traveling abroad, super value.
I've ordered two of these belts now and love them. I have a size 38" waist, the 36-40" belt size provides about 5-6" extra material but the 32-36" also fits and has about 2-3" extra material depending how you want it to lay on the inside. The inside nylon zipper for the pocket zips smoothly, the pocket area runs about 2/3 the length of the belt and I had no problem stowing $300 US (three stacks of five $20 bills folded in 3rds across the length) and it maintained a very discreet appearance from the outside. If not carrying bills inside regularly, the zipper will eventually create a "wear" line from the inside that is visible on the outside of the belt (which is why I re-ordered, but this was after almost a year of heavy use from the first one). Probably no big deal to most to be honest. The buckle is metal and clips off securely. The buckle, depending on the pants, may not fit through some belt loops, but I find that removing the buckle from the webbing, running the belt through the loops, and then reattaching is not that difficult to do. I love this belt for when I travel to foreign countries as it allows me to carry a more generous amount of funds without it all being "at risk" in my pockets. No one will get it unless they literally strip it off you. If needed, just find a discreet place like a bathroom stall to remove more as needed.

No secret pocket
The product description says the 01 black has a zippered money belt feature. The product received did not have it.The belt and buckle was easy to set up and use. I might buy it again, however, if you are looking for the zippered money belt feature, you might be disapointed.

Low profile belt
Really nice belt. The strap is 1.5" wide as mentioned. The buckle is thin, 5/16". Much thinner than all my other belt buckles, it's low profile. I found there are several ways the belt buckle can be attached to the belt. I prefer to thread it so the slack is on the inside, see pictures. I found there is no need to trim the belt, it holds in place really well. This makes the belt look and fit the best to me. A really neat looking belt, versus the sloppy looking belts that fits with one side higher than the other. This belt clip is solid, I don't seeing it unclipping by accident. The release takes a little pressure and you must push in both clips to release it. The belt can go thru one or both slots on buckle but it sits better going thru the outside slot only. And it holds really well. The outside slot had a slider to lock the belt from slipping. Really nice design.Only down side is that you need to unthread the belt to get it thru the belt loops, the buckle is a little large to push thru. Although I tried and I can work the buckle thru but takes too long.
