Several reviews have said the white wires have no stripes; the roll I received has stripes (see photo). They are the narrowest/thinnest stripes I've ever seen on Cat5e wire, but they are there. If not for that, my rating would be 5 stars.Noplace in the description did it say the frequency characteristics, so I've attached a picture of the wire labeling. The picture may be a little fuzzy, but it reads " SOLID CAT5E TYPE CMP 4*2*24AWG 75oC ETL# 5012108 cat5e Tested to 350MHz LOT# 29033273 0002FT RM# A" It continues on with room #s B C D E F 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 0. I presume one is supposed to circle the room number when laying wire. Nice, but I've never done that... The wire was easy to strip & terminate.Highly Recommended if one can see narrow/thin stripes...

DO NOT BUY BEFORE YOU READ REVIEWS!! The 4 striped cables are not marked at all!!! So terminating is a PAIN! Seller should mention this in description.

This cable pulls and travels the walls/plenums well. It is a good thick cable with very sturdy jacket that is easy to strip. The twisted pairs inside are also very sturdy and don't easily break. As the other reviews have mentioned the striped half of each twisted pair IS NOT MARKED. This is fine if you are using a keystone jack or other punch down blocks. If you are terminating the cable with RJ45 connectors, it adds an unnecessary amount of time and hassle to keep track of the correct striped wires. I probably wouldn't buy this cable again ONLY because of the lack of markings. I don't usually run through an entire box in one project, so being able to make patch cables out of the remainder is a must for me.

BEWARE. The blue-white, orange-white, brown-white, and green-white are not actually marked in any way and are all solid white. The only way to tell them apart is to keep track of the color they are twisted with before you begin untwisting for termination.This makes terminating the cables a complete pain, and is not worth the cost savings unless you are doing very long runs.Otherwise the cable tests out OK and appears to be of decent quality.

I unfortunately did not pay attention to the reviews on this product and purchased it anyway sadly now I'm stuck with the item. I would highly suggest you look at my photo because it makes it extremely difficult to terminate the ends of wire when the wire does not have a stripe on it . you need to pay close attention to what why are you untwist because when you remove the orange and white wire from one another you know longer know which one is which because all of the non-solid colors are a solid white. This is completely not worth the money I spent on it and I'm very disappointed at the product. Wish I would have opened the package sooner and looked at it but I did not need it until now

Solid colors are good but striped wires are all white with no distinguishing colors.
