I think I bought a size too big because my dog kept taking it off initially. Once we figured it out tightened the collar it worked most of the time. She is a large dog with a small head so it was hard. She did better with this than a cone.

Served its purpose and he did not remove it as he did with the cone. However; sizing is important, and he could have easily gripped this thing with a hind foot and ripped it off or punctured it.

It says it is a more comfortable version of a cone yet it doesn't restrict them from their back legs and stomach like an actual cone. It also doesn't hold air. It stayed inflated for almost a day then went flat and wouldn't stay inflated more than an hour or so. Couldn't find a hole anywhere just not a good plug I guess.

Well constructed, my dog doesn't mind wearing it at all. Much better than the cones the vets send home after surgery. Price is fair.

Not recommended for a chewer. If your dog is known to chew up stuff, be careful with this product. My dog chewed the plastic buckle off into little pieces. Luckily, we caught her before she ingested most of it.

Needed a collar right away for my 110 lb GSD who had surgery and a cut paw.First ordered a KONG Cloud collar...It had holes in it and wouldn't stay inflated. This collar looked exactly the same for half the price so I gave it a try..Ordered the Xlarge and it was a bit big ..I liked the buckle snap rather then Velcro that gets full of hair in no time...This collar holds air but it only stays fully inflated for about 6 hrs then needs to be blown up again to harden it up..Not sure why they seem to slow leak..Didnt stop my dog from licking his paw ..but he couldn't reach his belly spot..Just wearing it helped deter him from licking tho...He used it like a pillow and could fit in his crate with it on..didn't mind wearing it at all..even outside.Saves banging into walls and furniture and coming in the door..Exact same as the Kong Cloud other then the strap .and half the price!!

I got this collar a to stop my dog from scratching a scab on his head. The first night using Inflatable collar he was still able to rub his head on the floor and damage his eye. $250 later he is now back to sporting the vets E-collar of shame and now has more medications to take.

This product does not work for dogs with a long snout. My golden retriever/German Shepherd mix was still able to reach his neuter incision, even after I made it smaller (by sewing it) to sit higher on his neck.I'm sure this is perfect for shorter snouted breeds, but don't waste your money if you have a dog with a long snout.He does like wearing it as a pillow tho

Lasted just one day. Stick to hard plastic e-collars for big dogs.
