Beader's Workstation | HOL-225.00

I bought this for my wife as a Christmas present. She recently started beading and wanted something to organize her tools and supplies. After seeing the quality of the wood used for this workstation, I know I could have made it myself with less than $20 worth of material from HomeDepot and an hour of my time. It isn't terrible but it certainly seems overpriced to me.

The wood is cheap so watch out for splinters. However, as a workbench tool holder, it's fine. Don't bother with the diagram that supposedly shows how to assemble it - just look at the parts and use your common sense, it wasn't difficult to screw together. I gave it four stars because if you want it all the way against a wall - like I do - then you can't use both dowels to hold larger tools; there isn't enough clearance between the wall and the back dowel to allow a large pair of pliers, etc. to fit over both bars. So I'm balancing my larger tools on just the front dowel but that is still better than nothing, and definitely better than having them laying all over my work bench.

I bought this as a gift for my mom, who does all kinds of craft. It works great for all her crafting tools.

We kept the product, as the design is good. However, we had to re-make as portions that were nailed fell apart in our hands when the box was gifted. We had to glue and screw the parts back together. Too bad, it was the only Christmas present I had for my daughter!

The overall design is great, but all of the parts had to be sanded to fit together, and one of the spindles had to be trimmed as it is too long. For the price, I expected everything to fit together from the start.

Best thing I've bought for my bead station. Keeps a lot of stuff ready at hand, but out of the way,
