Diplomat - Aero Factory - Fountain Pen in Gold 14 Carats - Medium - Chrome - Resistant and Elegant - High End - 5 Years Warranty

I bought Diplomat Aero Fountain Pen Factory finish in Gold Medium nib. The pen scores 5/5 on the looks - quite a looker. Weight is good - not too heavy or too light. The size 6 14ct nib is also quite a looker. The nib is same as the one used on Diplomat Excellence models. My only beef is with the way the nib sometimes writes. I am not even remotely suggesting that it is not a pleasure to write with, but the gold nib is not as amazing as steel nib from Diplomat (both made by Jowo - I think). For this sole reason - I am giving it 4 stars. May be I am being harsh and unreasonable comparing a gold nib with a steel nib - but that's my view. You will not regret buying this pen - it is engineered and built impacably.
