Will the pump shut off atomatically once i turn my shower off ?

yes it will if you have the switch set right its got a manual and a auto setting on the switch manual setting is marked like this I auto is marked like this II so just set it on auto and forget about it if your still worried have someone stand real close to the pump and someone else turn the water on and then off and you will hear the pump kick on then off hope this helps randy

Just got it installed and doesn’t matter if switch is on 1 or 2 it keeps going on and off with no water running! What’s the deal?

With my pump, if the switch is in position 1 or 2 the pump only comes on when the system pump is calling for pressure. Could you have a leak? It sounds like you may have a slight pressure drop and the pump is cycling to satisfy the decrease in system pressure. Possibly blow by on one of your system valves. I would look for a small leak or a valve not holding. Hope it helps.

Do you install the check valve before or after booster pump?

There is not check valve provided. If you mean the flow switch, it was installed after booster pump following installation instructions and arrow direction.

Does anyone know what the thread is on the output side. Looks like 1/2 in. pipe but it is not?
