Yes, it's a pain to assemble but it is a big old lump so it was never going to be easy!The height adjust is a great feature for growing kids.It's fairly sturdy though does wobble a little when balls are thrown hard at it, though for a sub-£100 price tag, I do not expect it to be perfect.All-in-all, I'm very happy with it and will have to wait & see if I get any problems down the line.

An overall frustrating experience - takes some putting together and after that original sense of triumph, the real issues kicked in: the hoop is off centre, the backboard is not perpendicular to the main pole, because the holes in the pole itself via which it is secured in place are out of line. The holes which are used to fix the backboard at the back are elliptical meaning that after just a little usage the back board leans forward, the hoop then does so too.There is zero bounce in the backboard.Then the hooks by which you secure the net to the hoop broke.It's not cheap and the build quality is poor. The supplier initially denied there could be an issue, despite photographic evidence to the contrary, offering a £10 refund. I insisted, they relented, and offered to send a spare part to fix the elliptical issue, and then when the hoop broke suggested I buy a replacement on Amazon for which they would refund me £25... even though it cost £31.99!! Shortly afterwards I claimed a full refund and sent it all back : /

Excellent piece of equipment! It actually got my teenage son and daughter to spend time together. The assembly instructions could have been a little clearer but overall I’m really happy.
