Sizing is unusual, but Spandex is stretchy, so it will cover many different body types
[Updated after using it for a week] I bought this skin suit to keep the sun off while kiteboarding. The sizing measurement guide they provide is strange, but the suit has a lot of spandex in it, so it fits a wide range of shapes. I am 6'3", and weigh 160, and the XXL fits me. Generally, things that fit my skinny width don't fit my tall height, but the suit stretches enough for me, though I don't know if anyone taller would like it unless they didn't use the stirrups - they can be annoying after a long period of use. There is plenty of stretch left for people thicker than me. I used the suit every day for a week of kiting in the Caribbean and was very satisfied with it. The suit was snug enough so it did not get all baggy with water when in the water. The overall construction seems good, though the thumb loops came loose, but I resewed them on. Kiting is a very active sport, so there is a lot of crashing into the water, sand on the beach, etc, and it held up well. There are no weird bumps in the fabric. My only complaint (and minus a star) is the zipper pull that joins the zipper teeth together is metal, so I expect it will require rinsing after using in salt water or it will corrode. The zipper teeth are plastic, so they are fine for salt water. I was in the sun most of every day, and did not get any burn or tan through the material, so it is great sun protection. At around $30, the suit is almost a consumable. I would buy another one.

Perfect
I had to order a size larger based on other reviews, but this suit is a great value. I've taken it out snorkeling and diving on several trips and its held up great. Fits well, is comfortable, offers protection in the water and from the sun. and washes and dries easy for use the next day.

Cheap plastic zipper broke on second use
I want to love this product. The fit was good, and I was able to spend an entire day playing in the sun without sunscreen with no sunburn. (Truly, rash guards are ecologically safe future of sun protection.)But, alas, the manufacturer cut a corner on the zipper. The failure mode of the zipper was that a tooth broke off with only moderate use, rendering the zipper inoperable. If I had been on a longer adventure this would have been catastrophic -- I really depend on my gear when I travel, and this garment just isn't tough enough.

Great product. Beware of sizing
I bought this for a trip where we were snorkeling one or twice every day. It did a great job with sun and rash protection. It also provides a little warmth, though we also had shorty wetsuits. As a bonus, people could easily find me in the group with the unique arm pattern LOL. Sizing: I am 6 ft 0, 178 pounds and got 2XL, which was the right size - definitely would not have wanted smaller.

Excellent quality for the price
If you are looking for an inexpensive lycra, this one will do the job. My son uses this to dive in warm waters where a wetsuit is not needed. We did a week long trip (8 dives) and it was quite comfortable. The only comment I have is that the hood is not tight around the head. One one hand, it makes it more comfortable (I don't like the really tight hoods) but on the other hand it holds water and floats over your head. We just tucked it in the back, but it comes out. I ended up using a safety pin to hold it. This is why I don't give it 5 stars. In spite of that, I do recommend these lycras. Good quality, nice design and fits right. Very good option when compared to the $60-$70 ones where you pay for a brand name.

A Thoughtful, Well-Designed Product
I bought this prior to a cruise to Galapagos in which there would be snorkeling. It was amazing! The cruise supplied heavy duty wetsuits that were overkill for the most part. Difficult to put on, and the bottoms were only shorts, and had no head cover. I enjoyed being fully covered in this sleek suit that was a breeze to take on and off, and was the envy of the others. I wore my swimsuit underneath, but not necessary. There was a colder area we cruised to—where we snorkeled with penguins! This suit will not help in cold ocean water. At that point I put the cruise ship’s thicker suit over this one, and was good to go. The bag that is made like a mini-backpack is extremely useful—for a wet suit, or many other needs of an active vacation. The only improvement I can imagine is if they could create a trap door for those annoying bathroom breaks!
