Yamaha DTX450K Drum Kit w/ Throne, ATH-M30x, Sticks Bundle

Great starter kit. Sturdy , great sounds and versatile. I like that each kit can be customised and each pad can have its volume independently adjusted. Hi hat takes a bit of tweaking and has a slight delay so have to strike a little earlier to get a sizzle from closed to open. I think the sensitivity may fix this but haven't finished fiddling with various settings . Obviously its almost impossible to copy a real snare drum feel and sounds and feel the kit is rugged to take a pounding , but not sensitive enough to capture the true subtlties of gentle drumming, the in between sounds of being either digitally "on" or "off" . But there are $4500 kits out there that do that . This kit is awesome for what it is . Solid , clean, customisable , entry level and more for beginner to more advanced drummers.
