After several barks it will emit the sound and a vibration. For two of my dogs, the sound alone is sufficient to stop their barking.* Lightweight* No crosstalkBecause I am using the collar on three dogs, it is important that the collar of one dog not respond to bark of another dog. In my experience, this collar responds to the wearer's barks and not the barks of other dogs.Cons* SizeWhile it's smaller than some other brands, it is still large for what it does.If they cut the size in half (at least half the height), it would be a best seller. Well. My chihuahua-pekingese HATES IT. I'm moving to an apartment so I thought I'd try this to keep him from barking at every sound. I put it on him and he won't move. He just sat on the couch and even when I offered him a treat, he just sat there. I'm going to put it on him every day until he gets used to it. I hope it works! It fits him well, the strap is light but strong, and the buckle is secure. Maybe it DOES work because the neighbors dogs barked and he just sort of made a noise but didn't bark. I'm hoping he will get used to it so I don't get in trouble for him barking! I did put the prongs on my hand and I "barked" at it. It made a loud noise, I barked at again and it vibrated and made a longer noise. So it works without pain! The directions say to cut the hair under your dogs neck if it's thick.

The correcting device is great and worked much to my surprise/hesitation! But the collar itself is cheap and poor quality,I already felt it wouldn't last.. I had put the collar on him in the morning and a few hours later the collar was frayed all throughout and was dragging about the dogs neck.I choose to wait to write this review because I was trying to find a more sturdy store bought collar but that's basically impossible since the most collars have a bulky loop or latch and the slots of the device are so narrow.. So as of right now, I'm looking to buy a new no bark collar all together and am keeping my dogs barking at bay by setting of the beeping of the device since the dog knows that that means.

Works like it says, but a little Ghetto. But hey for 20ish bucks it keeps my 3lb chihuahua from barking his head off when my husband comes home from work at 4am. It's a little hard to find the right sensitivity setting as you have no idea what sensitivity it is on, you just have to kinda keep trying it out. At one point just the jingling of my dogs dog tag would set it off and poor Paco was getting zapped for nothing, but after some trial and error we found the right setting. Not a bad buy if your looking to save a few bucks. Definitely cheaply made and not sure how long the battery is gonna last but it'll do for now.

I really like that this collar beeps before actually vibrating, my dog is reactive towards strangers and noises and the collar has only really vibrated about twice since I've been using it. I like that the beeps get progressively louder & longer if the dog continues to bark. It is light and does not seem to bother him, I leave it on my pup when I leave for work and he is in good condition when I return. My only thing is I wish I knew what level the collar was on because sometimes the collar does not go off when it should, so I have to increase the level without knowing which level I am increasing it to. The last thing I want is to increase it too high, but overall great product and will keep using to correct barking. (dog is 14 lbs)

This was a miracle for all of a week. Our dog is an incessant barker inside, outside, in her kennel. With neighbors and a new baby I was really hoping this would help the problem. It’s very easy to use and comes with 2 batteries which last about a week give it take. Not bad for the amount of times it goes off. My dog was almost bark free for the first week and I was so excited. But now she flat out ignores it. The beeping and vibrating do nothing to control her barking and I’m back to square one.
