iPad Air 2 Case - Poetic iPad Air 2 Case [DuraBook Series] - Slim 360 Degree Rotary Standing Case for Apple iPad Air 2 Gold (3 Year Manufacturer Warranty from Poetic)

I recently purchased the iPad Air 2 in white/gold and wanted a cheap case that preserved the thin feel, matched with my beautiful gold tablet and had vertical and horizontal viewing capabilities. After buying and returning a bulkier case, I decided to try this one. It is pretty and lightweight. The plastic part that snaps in the iPad is sturdy and has accurately placed openings for the buttons and speakers. The grips actually work really well to keep the ipad in place and it doesn't fall over unless you really bump the case. (works better in horizontal vs vertical setting). I love that you can adjust the angle to the perfect tilt for your position as opposed to the cases with only 2 or 3 fixed ridges. I only have 2 issues with the case - it doesn't stay closed at all. The top just flaps around. A better closing mechanism (like an elastic strap) would be an ideal addition. Also, when you try to take pictures, the iPad rotates around a little bit so the outer covering sometimes blocks the camera which I found frustrating. Regardless, I will be keeping the case because it's cheap and meets my needs better than anything else out there currently.

I don't personally use this case, I bought it for my sister but I think its biggest pro is how it looks. It looks great. From there it is pretty average. The standing function is a bit clumsy and takes a little bit of fiddling with it to get it to stay where you want it and how you want it. The other issue is that the cover flap doesn't stay shut, it literally flaps all over the place.It gets the job done though and as I said it looks pretty good, so I don't think we will be buying a new case soon.

(I chose the color gold) The color on the case is very unique! It shines in the light and is great for transportation. I would almost say it is scratch proof, I move this case around a lot and it doesn't get any scratches or dents. Although it is very beautiful there are a few flaws, when I use this case it tends to slip or slide limiting my choices of where I would like to stabilize the case. I feel like there aren't enough supporters, on the case, for it to stay up. Even though it isn't the greatest case it is very sturdy on flat surfaces and has a gorgeous appearance.

I liked Poetic's case for iPad Air very much so when I got my iPad Air 2, I bought another case from Poetic right away. Like my old one, this case is also very light. I love it! The reason I didn't give 5-star is because it doesn't stand firmly if my iPad doesn't stand straight enough. The inside material used is different than my old Poetic cover. I really like Poetic's products and hope this company will listen to customer's comments and make improvements in the future.

Color is a bit more tan than gold, but it looks good overall. I still can't use it since I ordered the wrong model iPad Air case. Be careful when ordering because the date to return this item is too quick, and before you realize it, you're stuck with your wrong purchase.

The only rotating iPad case I found. Can use it landscaped or portrait style. The gold color makes it quite nice and it is not bulky at all. Can use slanted on your lap or at a 90 degree angle to watch movies. If this is what you're looking for get it you won't regret it.

I was not impressed with the construction of this. Very flimsy for something in this price range. And does not stay standing in portrait mode very well. Slightest nudge will make it fall. Stood okay in landscape. But there are many other much better folios that are landscape only.

I'm not sure what the other reviewer was talking about when it was said that the iPad falls out of this, I bought this for my new iPad Air 2 (not for the original iPad air). It fits perfectly. Just like every other Poetic case I have ever bought. There is a small gap at the bottom below the home button that allows for the speakers to still be heard when in portrait mode. In order for the stand to work they added little pointy bumps at the bottom and the side of the case for grip. These spikes meant no speaker holes. So the gap along the bottom was a great option. I have had no issues with iPad falling out or sliding when being used in stand mode. Because of the way this case was designed it's perfect for use on your lap. The base of the stand is big enough to offer plenty of support without tipping over.

This case is amazing! I am a light user of the iPad, so I'm not sure how it would stand up to heavy use. But after 1 year it still looks like it just came out of the packaging! it stands the iPad up great in both directions and had a camera hold on the one end (not all cases have this)! Would buy again!
