Rethink the velcro please - it's like a cheese grater!
This product would be great for my uses - holding my iPhone on the belt-strap of my backpack - except for the placement of the large velcro fastener.I use my phone when out walking to take pictures (as well as to run GPS apps etc). This means that the phone gets taken in and out quite a lot. With the pouch on my belt, that means that my thumb knuckle gets rubbed against the hard "hooked" part of the velcro fastening every time I pull the phone out. Imagine coarse sandpaper rubbed over a knuckle joint and you'll get the idea.Without using two hands (one to extract the phone and the other to hold the flap out of the way) there's simply nothing you can do other than grate the skin off your digits pulling the phone out.The construction is great - but I'll be looking for an alternative to this pouch to keep my phone dry and accessible when out in the mountains.
