E-flite UMX Spacewalker BNF Airplane

Great Little Flyer.....I had no problem binding it to my DX5e. A little adjustment on the elevator trim and off she went.To have fun and success with this plane....fly it in little to no wind or indoors. If flying outdoors, fly in an area without a lot of trees.The less things to crash into the better.It handles very well and it will fly fast or slow. I got about 6 minutes out of the battery, and was able to pull off a loop or two on it's maiden flight.I would say that a beginner could fly this plane relatively easy if they fly in no wind and in an obstacle free area

The UMX Spacewalker is a ton of fun in a little package. The 16.5" wingspan has amazing loft and lift. It requires zero assembly and zero modifications out of the box. Charges the included battery in 15-20 min with the included charger and it is ready to fly. Winds under 2mph are best but it is capable of higher winds although less graceful. Easy takeoffs from hard surfaces and short lofty landings. Maybe you see the $79.99 BNF of the $99.00 RTF price and have hesitation, I truly believe it is worth the price given its performance and abilities. If you look you can always find a $10.00 off coupon or 10% off. If you read the RC-group reviews the Spacewalker UMX is Highly recommended!

This plane is a perfect one for indoor flying and also outdoors IF there very little to no wind. All in all it is worth the money if you have the right conditions to use it. It can fly rather fast and can fly slowly too. Not sure I would recommend it for the beginner, as it takes more controlling than say the Champ, but it's a nice plane to play with in a small space.

Great little plane,slow flyer and easy to control. Bought it as a BNF (bind and fly) and using the transmitter from the Champ.Very responsive,but fly in winds of 5 to 10 mph. Remember not to have a heavy hand on the sticks !

This is a great little indoor flyer. I would recommend it for an intermediate pilot or an advanced beginner.

This little gem is perfect for the small park outside my apartment. It is somewhat difficult finding a large indoor space to fly the Spacewalker but it flies very nice outdoors on a 0 wind day. I also recommend getting extra batteries!

Everything Derek. E had to say I endorse. I've only been flying 8 months and am almost past beginner stages. The pace really is slow or fast graceful flight in your small backyard or cul de sac. I've crashed over a dozen times and no damage at all. Love it!

lots of fun indoor or outdoor on come to 4mph winds easy to repair I had a bigger plane hit it and cut up the tail with its prop spent $9 on a set of new tail parts and it took about an hour to glue on the new parts. and 10 min getting it to fly well again.

Great flying little plane, binding was very easy to my DX6 radio. Just don't try to fly it with any wind, it's too light for that. I fly in a large garage and it works great.

Flu it twice and the motor went bad. Had to reinforce the wings. Other than that it works OK

Great little plane to fly in a gym or other big indoor area.

Very hard airplane

My 11 year old son and I fly both indoors and out. This is by far our favorite micro flyer so far. Smooth and slow, works great in the Gym and outside is a ton of fun as well.

Very nice little plane for a beginner. Nice and slow and forgiving. A little faster than the Night Vapor and much more scale looking.
