better installation instructions would have been helpful, once installed produuct worked as promised and is well built. Very happy with purchase. Would recomend it to anyone who carries gear in there bed.

I got this for an amazing price and I was already aware that Cargo Glide is by far the best bed slide out there.

The Cargo Glide is well made and sturdy. It does not roll that easily however. I think it has to do with the way they place the rear wheels above the tracks and the front wheel below. As you bring the draw out to full extension the level raises up about 4-6" at the end of the platform. I had to install spacers under the front frame to minimize this problem. I believe they build them this way to counteract sag over the tailgate with heavy loads. I would have bought a different unit (perhaps the 100% extension) if I knew beforehand.

Installation issues prompted me to call the company. After being transferred twice I got to a voice mail box and left my name and number as requested. 3.5 working days later I am waiting for a response from the company. The CG1000 itself seems to be built a little light to carry 1000 pounds, time will tell. Still no response from company. I solved the install issues on my own. Thanks Cargoglide. It is now the end of October never did get a response from Cargoglide. Unit seems to be doing well with light loads.Update 11/22 - Never did hear from the company, Unit bounces and rattles badly when not loaded. Latch is getting hard to release to slide the deck. Verify your part number on the cargo glide website before calling them to order, make sure they verify you are ordering the right unit.

Functions exactly as described. People complaining about it not rolling easy must've had a bad installation mine rolls effortlessly. I purchased mine directly from cargo glide I think I paid about the same price but they appear to be about $100 cheaper now.

Powder coat came off rails as soon as rollers hit it. None of the nuts were even snug on the carriage bolts.

We bought this cargoglide from a local a r e truck cap dealer. We were pressed for time and bought it out of a catalog as we were replacing a vehicle that was out of service in a crash. The dealer was new and not real knowledgeable about the cargoglide. It is listed as a 75% extension however in our case in the six and a half foot box in our F250 it was barely 55% beyond the outside of the box or the tail lights. With a cap on the truck it makes the front still unreachable. Unless you have a problem with the additional height I would always recommend the cargoglide 1500 XL. We're happy with a 1500 pound capacity the plywood bed the sides the easy latch. It also has multi positions that it can stop along the way out. But the fact that it's only a 50% extension makes it virtually worthless.
