Buy this if you want 30W fast charging on your iPhone XR/XS/11. Pair with Anker USB C to Lightning cable - job done. It is far cheaper than the official Apple charger and cable and does the exact same job.The high quality of the charger itself is obvious. It is substantially larger and heavier than even the iPad charger. It feels like it will last a long time.Fast charging is confirmed on the iPhone by the battery icon “enlarging” upon plugging in the charger. You will hear the usual charging tone followed by a second tone a few seconds later, confirming fast charging.The only criticism I can level at this charger is the permanent LED. It is completely unnecessary and the only way to hide/ disable it is to stick a piece of black tape over the light. I hope they change this in future designs.In summary: high quality 30W fast charger for iPhones at a fraction of the cost of the official one from Apple.

This is a good, fast charger – if you know what to expect. Because this charger can provide different voltages, it works together with your battery to determine the optimal charging rate. A battery that is closer to 0% will therefore charge (much) faster, while the charger will be slow to get you from 90 to 100%. This has to do with the battery chemistry, and slower charge rates are needed towards the end to prevent damage to your battery. As an indication, the charge times from 0% to different targets on my iPad Pro 11" are as follows:0h 20m to 25%0h 45m to 50%1h 00m to 66%1h 15m to 75%1h 20m to 80%1h 40m to 90%2h 30m to 100%As you can see, the charger only takes an hour to take the empty battery all the way to 2/3 full. However, it takes almost as much time to get the battery from 90% to 100%. The charging speed therefore depends heavily on the initial battery level when you plug the device in. Regardless, charging the massive iPad Pro battery in only 2h30 is impressive, and being able to have most of my battery replenished in 1h30 is very convenient.As always with Anker, the build quality is high. The blue light is not as annoying as I expected and only emits a very faint glow. The charger is quite small, and the price is much, much better than an Apple-made 30W charger which does the exact same.

Works as listed any one not getting the fast charging is either using the wrong cable or wrong charger if that... Works with fast charging 30w power delivery for near enough every smart phone.... You will be able to find out by searching your model of phone and seeing if the specifications list fast charging under (what required amount of power delivery eg. 30, 60w chargerWorks on Asus Rog Phone 1 as I broke my screen not long after purchasing the phone the company sent me a dead charging plug back and down right refused to issue me a new one.. ( repaired the phone) but decided to give me a dead charger.... This charger is cheaper and works exactally the same.. well done Anker !!!

Charger works great! I got this to charge my iPhone XS Max device and also I got one of the Anket USB-C to Lighting Cables. It really works a treat!! I got 20% charged in around 10-15Mins so would easily have half charged the device in 30mins roughly.The only annoying thing which is why I had to drop to 4 stars was that it is next to my bed at night and that blue LED can be very annoying! There is no switch to turn the LED off and also it is always on even if a device is not plugged into it.Problem was fixed by putting a bit of black tape over the LED, however would have been great if you had the option to disable the LED.

Great for charging MacBooks. Not the best for MacBook Pro as they need double the wattage so it charges pretty slow however as long as you’re not doing anything heavy it should be fine for most people.

This was on for a good price, with a voucher discount, so I decided to give it a whirl!Works well as a charger for my iPad Pro, and the light is not too bright, so this now lives in the bedroom and the original Apple 18w foldable charger comes out and about with me. This charger is not the most compact size, so not ideal if you’re looking for a travel charger, but decent purchase overall.

I didn't expect it to charge my iPhone XS as fast as it did, it charges about 50% in a matter of minutes. Extremely useful for when I'm about to leave the house and my go-to charger from now on. I did think it was faulty as it dings twice every time I connect my phone but found out that's normal for a fast charger.

It's a plug. Good quality. Worked with my anker power bank in a way that nothing else would. But I slightly resent that I couldn't charge the bank with another bank, even if at a slower rate. This plug is a good plug. Get it if you need a plug.
