Lee Evans - Monsters Live [Blu-ray]

Saw this live at the NIA and it was funny. When the release date for the bluray came a brown cardboard packet was posted through my door. When I opened it I was delighted to see a shiny blue and yellow case. I opened the case and there was a circular shiny object inside. I put this into my blu ray player and waited......then it started and I was soon once again laughing to to the sweaty chimp boy again! Buy it if like lee Evans. If you dont like him then buy something you do like or turn off your computer and make a drink.

I went to see this live on one of the filming nights, I can't see myself in any shots (that might be a good thing!) but I don't think that makes any difference to my rating! The laughs are thick and fast and despite knowing what's coming most of the time it doesn't fail to catch me out too. Great memories and the only shame is that this was (unless he changes his mind) Lee's last big arena tour.Highly recommend, a must for anyone with a collection of his DVD's that has this one missing!

Excellent so glad we had the chance to see him live and buy a special edition DVDcaught bits I missed from the live performanceSuch a shame he's retired, but he deserves the rest god bless Lee Evans.The epitome of his generation of comedians who have worked thier way from the ground up and left at the pinnacle of his career (not like some of the current crop that appear and dissappear just as fast) Lee you will be missed loads but your family needs you now have a great retirement.Anyone wondering weither or not to buy this DVD I'd say yes while we wait for a complete box set collection (I am)Mike

Despite having to wade through a lot of middling material to get to the gold, he's still clearly a funny man, with his characters, accents and trademark gurning. But, OMG, why oh, why does he have to sing?! Dreadful. Minus one star for that.

Arrived quickly and with seal still in tact. Lee is his usual funny self. Shame his Dad is not with him to be able to add his dinanic contribution to the end song. But still a good song.Bought as a gift for my son as I am not a huge fan of rude jokes abd there are lots of rude and crude here. I did fibd lots of funny parts and even some rude bits were funny. Just not my cup of tea. If you are a fan though you woukd love it as does my son.

Went to see this @ Newcastle Arena was one of the funniest things I ve seen in years. Being as Newcastle was were he got his start at least in arenas he became very emotional and the end of the show more so than I ve seen on any DVD be it live or tv show. This was filmed in Birmingham show but was almost as good. You always lose a little when its watched back on DVD etc. Was still worth the money. The only minor issue I had was in the live show the personal DVD covers were still being Advertised all be it while stock last, but when I pre ordered while waiting for the show to start and still had no code the following day to then be told by Amazon the ran out ages ago would have been nice if they could have altered the ad as was a little disappointed.

Present that is loved by the recipient and is watched every so often when his children are asleep

Bought this for my brother in law for his Christmas. As both him and I are die hard Lee Evans fans, we needed to get this on DVD. We both went to see the show live however having it on DVD is a brillant memory keepsake. Lee Evans never fails to make me laugh to the point where my stomach hurts and 'Monsters' continues to do so. Would genuinely recommend for Lee Evans fans, they won't be disappointed.
