Ten Girls Who Used Their Talents (Lightkeepers)

The stories are easy enough for elementary students to read. The biographies are not very long but offer enough insight into the life of that individual. The thing I liked best about each "biography" is at the conclusion of each story they first provide you with a special fact that relates to the individual's story and then sums up that person's life and ties in how that person's life was used by God. In addition, at the end of all of the biographies there is a short reading comprehension quiz covering each of the individuals covered in the book. I would highly recommend this book.

I have bought several books from this series and they are all wonderful! My kids love them, and we read through them very quickly. Each chapter has a fun story, usually of the person's childhood, then goes on to tell how God used them in their lives. I am so happy to have found these books!

Inspirational book, particularly for girls, as they search for quality role models. It is an excellent teaching tool.

So sweet and simple, these stories are an inspiration to my 8-yr-old daughter. She loves reading them with me and talking about the historical settings and the girls' character.

I love how it shows girls other girls talents.

These are mostly less know ladies who were using their talents for the glory of God. However, the morale of the story is timeless - live for Jesus in your daily walk. Transparent stories of challenges they faced.I got them as used books - in good condition and would use the distributer again. Prompt delivery.

Didn't actually read it myself, bought it for a Sunday School prize giving. Sorry.
