Clematis cirrhosa 'Jingle Bells'

Unfortunately something cut/ bit right through the plant overnight. It'll probably survive but ordered another incase . Had one of these jingle bells at my previous house and it flourished at Christmas. Lovely scent from the flowers. The damaged plant recovered and has got new growth.

Arrived quickly as a small, but healthy looking, plant on a small cane. I planted immediately and hoped for the best over winter. It has really taken off in the 7 months I’ve had it, it is now taller than me and needs extra trellis. I am hoping that it may flower this winter.I think I may have planted it it a slightly exposed area though, or maybe it’s because we’ve had such fierce storms in the U.K. this winter, but the stems further down do seem a little wind scorched and some leaves are the same. The majority of the plant however looks really healthy and seems to be thriving.

It's only been in for a few weeks and since it's a winter flowering evergreen clematis, I can't give it any more.

After buying plants online from a well known website I vowed I would never again. However... I have just erected an arbour and I knew what I wanted to plant against it. I knew that if I was to go to my local garden centre I would likely not find what I wanted but would likely come away with something different. Buying online guranteed that I would buy what I wanted and only what I wanted. The clematis I wanted was priced at £11.50 but didn't include dimensions in the description. A second plant that I ordered at the same time (from a different seller but similar in price) at least said 60cm, so I imagined this one would be similar. What turned up is TINY! The plant itself is little taller than a Coke can, two if you include the pot. I guess if I saw it at this size in the garden centre I would have given it a pass and bought something different. At this size, I just hope it manages to survive...

Well it’s a little early to give a review on this item as its not NOVEMBER yet tho the plant is growing hardily with plenty of green foliage there are no flowers as yet so ask me again in December then I will give a proper review

Not impressed very weak specimen, hardly any root, died within one month. Would bother order anything else from these people

Arrived well packaged and in perfect condition….. I planted it out and is growing very well and has first buds coming

This plant came within days was so well packaged and supported in the box. Repotted straight away and now flowering. Couldn't be better and an excellent price
