Review: Hands down best notebook for taking notes. No bleeding with a fountain pen. Love how it goes flat. And the feel of the paper is great. Review: Everything about this notebook says quality the paper is nice and thick no pen bleed through the cover is real nice looking and not some cheap plastic but the best thing is the page layout the dots on the left are great for Detailed drawings or schematics and on the right the lines are great for notes I am a woodworker so I draw up my cabinet details on the left and on the right I input the Dimensions and any notes for that cabinet this is the only notebook on the market I have found with this Unique layout the only thing I wish is that it had a book marker ribbon like other journals and a closure band other then that it is perfect one more thing some people are giving the notebook bad reviews because of the patch having off centered wording mine was dead centered so they must have fixed the problem I would highly recommend this notebook to anyone

This is an excellent notebook. It nails all the features you really need, without packing in any extraneous bells and whistles you don't. In particular, it lays flat and stays open on any page of the notebook. The paper is smooth and a pleasure to work with. The cover is both classy and rugged at the same time. A couple of nice-to-haves for the next edition... (1) Page numbers. It takes 10 minutes for me to number the pages myself, so it's not a big deal, but still. (2) I'd like the rows of dots on the dot-pattern to line up with the lines on the line-ruled page. Again, not a big deal -- it still works great. But it would make the user experience that little bit better for folks that mostly want to write on both pages, and sketch only occasionally (which I expect is a pretty big chunk of customers).

I am very satisfied with this notebook. It has the thickest, highest quality paper I've ever used, and the dot grid/lined page combo is a really nice feature. Since I always kind of waste my notebooks in the past by drawing on only 1 page in a spread, while using the other to jot things down, this was actually perfect for me. The cover is one of the thickest, highest quality cover stocks I've ever had on a notebook, too. I've used Moleskine and Leuchtturm notebooks, and this has a thicker paper that won't bleed than either one. Definitely thicker than the Moleskine, at any rate. I haven't tried it with any heavy bleeding markers or pens yet, but I don't foresee it having any significant page bleed. That said, I'm only giving it 4 stars. Why? Well, it's missing a few things, like the bookmark which I use all the time. There also is room for improvements or additions that their aforementioned competitors offer, like having a side pocket in the back, a pen loop, etc. Of course, I can easily get by without those, but they're good features to have. When looking for a good designer notebook, it's those little features that really make you fall in love with the thing, you know? All in all, this is so far my favorite notebook, in terms of quality and construction. The paper quality alone ensures I'll almost certainly buy another one in the near future. However, it's missing a few things that if it had, it would truly and easily be the best notebook for designer on the market.

Decent little notebook. I like the thick textured cover. But I feel like it's overpriced for the level of overall quality. The binding isnt tight enough and makes a crackling sound when opening. The paper quality is nice but nothing different from other brands. I like the simplicity and paper quality, but I don't think I'd buy another one of these in the future.
