Don't think I was ever this excited to own a book related to urban agriculture. Beautiful and well-formated book. Great great resource for research projects/getting you started in coming up with your own ideas on viable food production

Is a good book, becouse I see a good ideas for work in my country. I sepeak about the book whit my friends.

Carrot City was very informative and had great project images! I shared it with my Graduate students. Would highly recommend it.

I think the most exciting stuff going on with urban ag these days is the effort to cross boundaries into urban planning and design, green infrastructure and the like. We can combine forces between urban food production and sustainable urban design and beautification at the same time. This is one of the first works to get this and stimulate thinking about this new approach, which came to life at an Urban Agriculture Summit in Toronto in August of 2012(see the Summit blog for a "mannapesto" on this theme). Great artwork and well-done text make for a pleasant and uplifting read --wayne roberts

Amazing book with precedence examples of where innovative urban agriculture is taking place, predominantly in North America.
