45mm Backset Door Lock Case Gear Box 2 Spindle

I had a locksmith out who said it would be £120 for the part. Contacted fullex who gave me the code. Ordered on Amazon for half the price of buying it from fullex and delivered same day

The lock does exactly what it is supposed to do and hopefully this lasts longer.The mechanism that rotates and activates the 3 deadbolts failed, it sheared off. Luckily I was able to open the door and then the sheared peices fell out inside so the door was not permanently locked.To replace the lock it was fairly straight forward, given you knew which screws to take off and how to remove the handles. I was able to get the locked fully functional and everything was as it was before.The new lock now seems to use different materials so hopefully this is stronger.

A great replacement, fit well, made well and delivered on time.Definitely use this company again.

Perfect replacement for the old lock master one that wasn’t compatible for my new simpled fingerprint door handle the lockmaster doesn’t have a notch in the corner like this one . Just remember to cut the screws down as the holes are blind tapped but really impressed

Unfortunately the latch on the front door snapped off. As it was part of a spring loaded mechanism I could not find just the latch. I thought I was going to have to replace the whole mechanism which was very expensive. Fortunately I found a backset door lock which was an exact match on Amazon. I have been able to keep the same set of door keys and my front door remains closed without having to be locked - result !!

easy to fit in, just need to know the correct size. 45 or 35 etc. need find the size. as a diy customer. better attach a photo like what is 45 mm mean...
