The Beginner's Book of Salah

Exactly the book I was searching for. It has both Arabic and English translations and transaliterations and is full of good information.

A book for both beginners and the advanced. Excellent explanation on how to conduct the Islamic Salah (prayer) which is done 5 times a day. The layout is simple and contents are easy to understand. Good translations of the Arabic text to English - not over-burdened with tedious explanations. Contents of the book: 1-Introduction to Salah (Prayer) 2-Preparing for prayer 3-Details of the prayer 4-How to perform the prayer 5-Prayers on special occassions (Friday prayers, Prayer for the dead, Eid prayers etc) 6-Eleven important verses to read during prayers 7-Verse of the throne of God 8-Luqman's advise to his son 9-Selected verses 10-Seven verses on various aspects of faith Highly recommended for someone looking to get started with worship or as a refresher! As a non-Muslim who is seriously considering conversion one of the hardest things I have found to learn is the practical application of salah. While I know many Muslims online I do not have any Muslim friends who live near enough to me to help me learn the physical aspects of prayer. I have found this book to be clear and easy to understand and follow. I'm very glad that I took the recommendation to buy it. Definitely worth the price and a book that I would recommend to anyone wanting to learn how to pray.

This book is marvelous for those who want to perfect their prayer. It is a book for folks who have become a Muslim too. It was originally a children's book but the author expanded it for everyone's use. It is an excellent book. I need to have three more copies, but unfortunately it is not readily available. It is book to keep for yourself and to share with others.

Very resourceful as well as helpful

Good book except i paid full price and they sent me one that is bent and says "used". The used ones are like 1/3rd to 1/4 the price of new, so i wish i had paid less money for my used book.

Very good book for children and for adults. Excellent book for new converts who need a simple explanation about prayer in Islam.

this book helped me learn the basics of salah, I had it since i was young it has so much basic Islamic knowledge great for beginners in Islam. I've ordered a few for people in my life. it's an amazing book

I learnt from this book and still refer to it if I forget any verses. Brilliant.

The light green text with transliterations is too small compared to the rest. Also, when italic font is too small, it makes it difficult to read for us older reverts :) I suggest a darker and slightly larger font for the next update. Nevertheless, I would still give this book 5 stars.
