Butler Creek Flip-Open Covers Eye Size 13

I purchased in other occasions similar Butler Creek scope caps, they are well made, not hard not soft plastic, their diameters are really precise, so if you measure your scopes with a caliper, you should have no problem in fitting them. This time I got the Eye 13 and 17 for my Evo-X crossbow scope, I like the red buttons on this series, so I decided to get for both Ocular and Objective, despite they advertise the ones without the red buttons for the objective lens. They fitted very snugly, with moderate force to place them, but not excessive, which is a nice thing, so there is no water or dust ingress. I would prefer aluminium caps, but other manufactures are missing lots of opportunities for people using their scope caps on different scopes, because generally they do not give their dimensions, they just advertise as fitting the scope Y, X and Z. If someone is looking for dimensions on the Evo-X scope, Ocular external size 40.7mm (cap is 39.9 mm), objective external size is 43.2mm (cap is 42.5mm) so you can understand a little bit about their tolerances, both butler creek caps (13 and 17 Eye) fit very snugly and nice, snappy opening too. Well recommended, I just need to understand if they become brittle after a few years of exposure to sunlight, cold and hot temperatures, so far they seem that they will last.

Expensive but does the job
