To start with, it is in grey colour and looks decent and nice. It feels solid with some feet underneath which gives some space between mat itself and the sink - this is extremely useful as all the oily water can flow to the drain well and mat stays relatively clean. The size I bought is large, well , it is still seems small for my big single bowl sink (80cm), but Ok to use for putting pans and pots. It does give a good protection to the sink. Have used it for over a month and it did not stained (yet) and easy to clean. I have also put hot pans on it, didn't burn it. Will see how long it can last. So far, a good buy.

Right now I'm using it above the dish drain portion of my sink (I have a dishwasher and only hand wash a few things and don't like using a dish draining rack) because when I place dishes there, the water doesn't drain well (too much metal surface between the groves). This allows the dishes to drip dry. Eventually, I plan to replace the sink and use this in the sink.

Excellent for the draining board and sink

Rather than use a plastic bowl to protect your sink and crockery a mat is much more practical as it takes up less room. This is an excellent design with good clearance underneath for allowing crumbs etc drain away. It is soft and should cushion any dropped mugs. It is well made and looks like it should last. I think as a drainer it is a little low to allow good airflow but as a sink mat it is the best one I have seen. It looks smart but might look a bit too modern for a traditional style kitchen.

I was a bit sceptical when buying this but it has really exceed my expectations. As it is a little raised all the dirty water runs to the plug and does not create that slimy film when using the flatter mats. Also very sturdy scrubbing a large pot or pan flat in the sink. I could have done with an inch bigger as my sink is large.

Be careful ordering this item... The title suggests the size is 30.5cm x 28.6cm However, I received a mat which was 40.6cm x 31cm which is too big for our sink. There appears to be a mismatch between the title and the product description. There is a "large" version and a "small" version but no apparent means of differentiating between them at the point of ordering. Therefore returning the large one to Amazon and requesting replacement with the small one. Basically a very good product but description and ordering process needs sorting out.

I love this .Perfect in form and function .My sink has a sloped bottom so this aids in standing things up .It also has little feet to aid drainage.It is solid in construction yet flexible .I love the OXO products and this one in particular

The OXO Good Grips Large Sink Mat is a solid, reliable product. OXO rarely disappoints, and I hope they continue maintaining their reputation by producing high-quality items like this. I used to buy rubber sink mats that wore out quickly, but after switching to the OXO mat, I’ve found it lasts for several years. The price has gone up—almost double—but the durability makes it worth it. I would definitely recommend this product.
