It is very easy to fly
It is very easy to fly. My daughters (9 and 12) were doing turns and stalls within a few minutes. The battery charges in about 30 minutes and you get at least 10 minutes of flight after that charge. The wings and nose are fragile but can still withstand normal landings/crashes on grass. We had one break after hitting sidewalk but the other is still going strong after 25 flights. Its a great product and really fun.

Cheap quality for price
My son really want a flying remote control bird for his birthday and he chose this one. He flew it only a handful of times and the tiny wing broke right away. The quality is so cheap for the price of the bird. We returned it right away. My son was so disappointed.

Great outdoor cat toy, somewhat difficult to learn how to fly
I bought this remote control bird as a toy for my cats to play with and to entertain them. Expectedly, I found that is not ideal for indoor usage because it does need some flying room to get stabilized in the air. It is difficult to figure out how to fly this thing, so I wouldn't recommend it for children's use just because I am 26 and am still learning how to properly use the controls. However, after taking it outside a few times I was able to figure out how to fly it without immediately crashing it and my cats enjoy watching it and trying to catch it. As far as durability, it is primarily made of styrofoam so it is very lightweight and can easily be taken away by the wind. I have crash landed multiple times and it has held up really well. The beak of the bird takes the brunt of the fall when crashing/landing but it is reinforced with a plastic covering that seems to help prevent further damaging. My only complaint is that the bird cannot take off on it's own form the ground, a person needs to hold it or it needs to be elevated to take off. This is not ideal if it lands somewhere that you cannot retrieve it. Oh yes, as far as battery life goes, it lasted about 30 minutes of me crashing and taking off before it showed signs of losing some power. The charger is USB and can be charged from a computer or it can plug into the handheld remote to charge. Overall, my kitties are highly satisfied, and they aren't debilitating the natural bird population in the meantime.

Flies surprisingly well
Had initial PEBKAC with first use. In the instructions, after pairing, it says to toggle the throttle, what it needs to say is toggle it *several times* until it starts flapping. I was originally pretty peeved when it apparently didn't work out of the box, but with a follow-on contact with the seller and following their updated instructions _to the letter_ , it works _perfectly_. Also, what looks like a tiny on/off toggle switch on the bird is actually a tiny push button. The formerly lazy cats of the household are now hunting all over looking for that bird after it flew through the living room! Awesome!

Heart Failure
On only its second flight the bird stopped flapping its wings and glided to the ground. I could hear the motor was running but there was no power to the wing mechanism. I am a very experienced RC modeler, so I opened the bird to see what was wrong. I found there was no pinion gear on the motor or anywhere inside the bird. Apparently the gear had come off the motor shaft while the bird was in the air. The gear must have fallen out of the bird and was lost somewhere between the yard and my repair area. Very disappointed. This kind of failure should not happen. It is not rocket science to have a gear properly attached to a motor. Millions, if not billions, of toys are made each year powered by small motors. This bird was a lemon, and hopefully the entire Mukikim inventory does not have the same flaw. I will not re-order. Once burned....twice shy.

Fun for 30 seconds...
This lasted about 30 from first flight to broken parts. The tail “rudder” barely stays in place and one rough landing and the whole tail section separated from the body. There is a Quality Control sticker on the tail, seriously? It’s made wholly of foam and thin plastic for the wings. I guess if I want to have any extended life beyond my first flight I need to figure out how to glue the parts back together. I knew better when I added this to my cart but I thought the cats would live watching this thing fly. $20 just flew out the window (further and longer than this thing did). GARBAGE

Didn’t work out
We have tons of RC toys. This one seemed super cool but unfortunately right out of the box we noticed an issue with the tail turning mechanism. We did get it to fly but it wouldn’t turn left or right. I’m sure they would have sent a replacement but we opted to just return it. It just seems way to fragile
