IT'S STILL A KEEPER
I have not tested the water quality as those test kits cost quite a bit, but we like the design of this product and have been satisfied with it so far, i.e. 6 months since we bought it. It is a countertop water filter with 3 filtering cylinders, very easy to change after 6 months for two of them and 12 months for the third. It works well, i.e. the water comes out when you turn the tap. The price was reasonable and it seems as good as it gets for a countertop water filter. Update: December 2015, still entirely satisfied with this water filter. Just ordered 2 replacement filters, which arrived promptly, and easy to install. Excellent counter-top system.

Overall good product! It is suggested that we replace it every six month. But if someone is a light user, does he still need to replace in every six month. It would be better if it has an indicator which tells when to replace.

I bought it a few weeks ago. I have 2 different TDS meters to check the quality and purity of the water and the filtration. The result of measuring the water in this filter is very similar to the measurement of the water that comes directly from the tap. Therefore, it does not matter to drink water from the tap or from the Brondell unit.
