This worked great for me. I have 2 cats that climb my Christmas tree, knock it over, and chew the wires from the light strands. I used this and after 3 days they stopped messing with the tree completely. I’m very happy. I have ordered 2 bottles, one for Christmas 2019 and one for 2020. At $20 a bottle it is not cheap. But I only get it once a year and it’s worth not having them mess up the tree everyday. It comes with 2 nozzles, a pump action and a trigger action. I use a generous amount so the trigger action is better. The trigger nozzle came with a piece installed that prevented it from working. It would make sense if that nozzle came installed on the bottle and you didn’t want it to spray accidentally in transit, but it came on the side with the pump nozzle installed on the bottle. I only bring this up because it took me 10 minutes of fiddling with it to figure out a piece had to be removed for the trigger nozzle to work. There were no instructions and it was not obvious. I feel like if I didn’t have an engineering background I wouldn’t have figured it out. Pretty sure 90% of the people will think the nozzle is broken and throw it away. Instructions would be helpful for sure. The piece is horizontally installed behind the trigger. It keeps the trigger from moving. It comes apart in 2 pieces. I used the pump last year and it takes longer to spray down the whole tree. The trigger is so much better. Like I mentioned before, I spray a generous amount. Use almost an entire bottle during Christmas, 2x daily. The smell is so very strong tho. It’s not bad, but over powering. Takes a good 30 minutes to go away. But like I said, I spray a lot. The first couple days the cats still messed with the tree when I first start spraying, but after 3 days of 2x a day heavy spraying they leave it alone completely. I recommend it, at least for protecting a Christmas tree. Probably works for other stuff too. Just don’t spray the tree when the family is planning to chill around it. Wait until everyone is out of the room or folks my complain.

I had high hopes and they were quickly deflated. The scent is nice, however it does nothing to repel the kittens. I'm pretty sure the kittens laugh as I spray it, then continue to jump on the counter. The pump stopped working on day 2. So now I'm stuck with a broken pumper and a bottle of spray that does nothing. Extremely disappointed. I really wanted this product to work. *** Updated: Mark reached out to me about my order. He replaced the broken pump and sent a new bottle. He was in constant contact with me about my order & when the new items would arrive. I greatly appreciate the fact that he took time to reach out & fix the issues I was having. Although it's still not deterring my kittens, I really like how it smells. The kittens are learning that when they see the bottle, they need to jump down off the counters. So, in a way, it is working I guess. It was a pleasure working with Mark through this. He really was helpful & never rude. It's nice to see a company stand behind their products.

First off, I need to say that my 2 little rugrats are extremely curious, and tenacious. Although I followed the directions for over a week, this had no effect at all. The scent did not bother them at all. This may work for the average feline, I don't know. The Bengal breed is very different in most instances for the normal domestic cat. I would not recommend this for Bengal owners. Personally, I found the scent appealing. Ot fod not stain the natural wood walls of my house, or any other areas of my home. The product was delivered quickly, and intact. In the end, I ended up just training them with the old fashioned positive reward system, and making absolutely sure they always had a positive way to exspend their energy , which is usually the reason for misbehaviour from any kitten, or cat. There is no substitute for attention.

This has really helped my cat stay away and doesn't scratch he has been scratching. The smell is not as strong as others I have used before. I used it for about a week twice a day and now I just use it every 3-4 days to remind my cat not to get near it. The one thing I did not like is that the spray doesn't really work. It leaks everywhere and it doesn't really spray well it just drips. I have to click the spray more often than I should audit goes everywhere. It waste more than it should but I am not mad since it actually works.

The scent isn’t bad or strong to me. Cats don’t seem to like it but it fades fast. I know you are supposed to spray 3 times a day for 7 days, but even then the cats still go back. Not enough product for price and the spray part stopped working on second day. Switched it to a new bottle and that sprayer stopped working. Put it back in original bottle and can get one spray maybe but the product squirts out all over my hand instead of spraying. Very frustrating to use. I really wanted to like this because I don’t use toxic chemicals in my home. Unfortunately, I will have to find something else now.

This is the best cat repellent I have ever used. Cats were using a carpeted hallway as their dumping ground, both liquid and solid. I tried cleaning the carpet and putting out pads for them to use but often they would find an area without a pad and go there. I started spraying the area three times a day and noticed a dramatic reduction. I'm now treating in the morning and evening. Incidents are now rare but I continue treating with the belief that the cats will become fully trained and my problem will be eliminated. The product has a very pleasant smell to humans but apparently not to cats. I had one concern I communicated to the manufacturer. After a few days the spray bottle would stop working. I received a prompt and overwhelming response. Acknowledging others had reported the same problem they determined the spray mixture was too thick causing plugging of the spray bottle. They sent me two spray nozzles to replace the ones I had problems with and sent me two larger 8 oz spray bottles with a thinner carrier containing the same active ingredient. I have had no problems with these new bottles. The people in this organization are top notch.

We applied to our outdoor couch/ table as we wanted a place for us to have dinner without so much cat's hair on it, from the first application our cat doesn't get close to this area, and also stopped scratching the couch. On day 3 I forgot to apply the product in the morning and she was smelling and checking the couch out. We are on day 5 applying 3x a day. Not sure if once we stop applying she will stay out honestly but the manufacturer says you need to apply 3x a day for 7 days so, I will update the review after that. Ps I don't have the pillows on the couch either, I am curious if I put the pillows the temptation may be greater than the unpleasant smells for my cat? hopefully not :) Update: Don't waste your money or time. I can't understand the good ratings. Maybe nobody came to update. The fact is after a week or 2 my cat just got used to the smell and as soon as it faced a bit she would jump right there. So Unless you are willing to keep using the product like every hour maybe forever this will not work... I bought 2 of these and always the spray stops working about half way to the end of the product... really annoying..... anyway dont recommend this unfortunately didnt work for me

Really works!! My step son obtained a really naughty kitten that was into everything!! Once this arrived MIND YOU the product arrived 3/4 spilled inside the protectant bag. I salvaged the rest to TRY it and boy the kitten would sneer at me and RUN!! I also bought a different well known brand at a pet store but I would recommend THIS product it has a lemongrass scent and is very pleasant to us humans yet keeps the pesky bad kitties out of your plants and other areas. IF this company reads my review...please revise your packaging w.Amazon to SAFELY pack for deliveries. That was a HUGE let down for me because I wanted another bottle to be shipped by itself but they would NOT because I had other items. Fact remains the product opens somehow and MUST BE CORRECTED!!! Great product!!!!
