Bingo, this is the best. perfect blance between quality, flavor and price point. I did comically exhaustive research (for wild rice?? darnit, I know!!!) and trust me, this is the best. Bottom line. To eat alone or for inclusion in recipes.

Very good wild rice blend. I cook it in my Instant Pot using the rice to water ratios (plus the recommended butter quantity) given on the package instructions and the "Rice" button on my cooker. When I open the lid, it always looks like I've used a bit too much water at first, but I stir it a bit and turn on the "Saute" function until it's the consistency I like. I've made it with less water than directed before, but I've found that it turns out a bit too chewy for my liking. With only a minute on the "Saute" function, any excess water cooks off or perhaps mixes with starches in the rice, resulting in a creamy delicious rice blend. I haven't cooked this any other way than in my Instant Pot using the "Rice" button (I just push it and let it do it's thing), but it turns out great when cooked that way.Another thing I like about this rice is that I can get away with making less rice for my family using this blend (as opposed to regular white rice). I'm cooking for growing boys, so when making white rice, I never make less than 4 cups (dry), and often it's more like 5-6 cups (dry), but with this wild rice, I can cook 2 cups (dry) and end up with plenty of rice for my family. They enjoy the rice (it isn't that they don't care for it), but this blend is more dense and filling than white rice, so even though it costs more than white rice, it takes less of it per meal, making it more affordable than it might seem. We eat a lot of different varieties of rice, choosing them according to our menu, and it's nice to keep this on hand to go with things like salmon or pheasant, or for whipping up a quick chicken and wild rice soup.One more thing to note--the bag seals shut with Velcro! The top of the bag doesn't open up all that wide, so you can't easily scoop out the amount that you want. (It can be done, just not necessarily easily.) It's easier to just pour the rice into your measuring cup. I think that about covers it! This is good rice, and I highly recommend it.

If you're reading this, likely you're already are a rice lover and this rice won't disappoint. Unlike other imported dry food which don't always follow the healthy guidelines. This rice is grown here in the U.S. and it is one of the healthiest choice you can make.Yes, I know most things healthy are tasteless, but Lindbergh wild blend rice smells and taste great.It is called wild blend because it is mixed with "wild rice" which taste amazing and it's so expensive! (If you are buying it alone) But with this particular wild blend, it has some of the "wild rice" mixed with it, enough that you can see and taste it. Good stuff, which adds to the health benefits. Plus the cooking time isn't too long like other organic rice. We see all the food shortage lately, it's time to buy and support local and national farms and farmers while getting all the benefits of a tasty rice. Great flavor, versatile and a great value.

I like that this is an organic wild rice, It comes in a resealable bag that’s easy to re-open & securely close. The cooking instructions are clear and easy to follow. The rice tastes healthy with sustenance.

This rice mix is great. Flavor is deep and savory, and its got a good chew. Dried fruit is a good add to it. I throw dried cranberries in it after cooking and let them steam during the ten minute wait period after rice is done. Comes out perfect. It's great with game - I serve it with orange duck and the orange sauce drizzled over the rice is good. I'm never without this brand rice mix since I came across it a decade ago. It's a 45 minute cook time with a ten minute top-on rest time added to that.

Great taste and texture. I was pleased to find it in stock on Amazon.

This rice is actually so good

Great product however Costco sells larger bag at 4 pounds for much much less! I was disappointed to learn seller sold this small bag at such a high price.
