Learning to tell the time!
This is a great toy for teaching how to tell the time: Pros: 1. It has 3 modes, a "you tell me what the time is"; a "move the hands to show this time"; and some kind of lullaby mode (which honestly I haven't tried). With modes 1 and 2, you can step up the learning or change it between modes to keep them on their toes. Cons: 1. The Yellow hand broke on mine after a several weeks of light use. (It refused to register anything but 6 o'clock - luckily Amazon did a refund and allowed me to reorder a new one; 2. The red minute markings are a bit small and can be difficult for a young child to get the hand to point at accurately; 3. Mode 2 has several ways of asking what the time is, (e.g. show me 6.21 (easy to follow), show me nineteen minutes to eight - very difficult for a younger child) - and you can't choose how it asks what the time is - would be immensely helpful if you could, e.g. use one as beginner's mode, another as intermediate, advanced etc; 4. It takes some getting use to the hand positions - so 5.55 requires the hour hand to be on 5 - whereas in reality, on a normal clock, it would nearly be on 6. Other than that, it's a good learning toy!

Helped her development already
Was supposed to be a Christmas gift but my daughter’s constant asking if the time made me break. It’s been a couple of weeks, she now knows the hours and the pasts just working on the minutes. She’s 3 !

It's good but could be better
The part I really love about this clock is the quiz part where your child has to place the clock hands on the time given I think this will really help her to learn the time. The clock is also sturdy and robust so I don't worry about her dropping it. At the time before purchase I hadn't thought about whether its a working clock and its a shame it isn't. The clock also has a timer to start the lullaby's which is good for timing to bed and makes me think its a shame its not a working clock as it could also have been used as an alarm to wake up. The light it gives is good for a night light though wont stay on all night, but it would need the option of being mains operated. So there are many functions I feel it is missing and the one thing I don't like about it is how loud it is, it definitely isn't quiet enough if you want the lullaby's to send your child to sleep.

Very durable, works well. I like that the hour hand is colour coded with the hour numbers, and the minute hand is colour coded with the minute numbers. It’s very well made. There’s two answers to every question, the exact time and also sayings like half past or quarter to. All in all, I think this is a great toy to have in the house. It a great teaching tool. I don’t use it as a night light. But they do have 4 colour options, and interchanging colours as last option. It’s classical music, but not necessarily the lullaby kind. At nightlight mode, the minute hand is a timer. So you can have the songs turn off anywhere from 1 to 60 minutes. You cannot lock the timer, meaning the kids can easily change your setting by moving the minute hand when you’re not around. My kids like the music enough, they play it while doing activities. The hour hand changes the music
