Love these cards!!! I’m always driving my kids around to a lot of activities and I was looking for something they could do in the car besides staring at a screen. They have a bunch of suggested games which I found handy. The “phonic hunt” game suggestion is a fun drive time game. “Slapjack” is also good, if you have a bench seat. I like that cards show usage of the words in sentences, so kids can practice. The box is very sturdy and a fantastic feature considering our use-on-the-go. We have had decks in the past where the paper case is torn like on the first day we opened them. Because the kids trash everything. Cards are a good quality, nice weight to them and size. They have a nice finish. They look like they could stand up to spilled chocolate milk. I like the prefix and suffix cards, very educational that I didn’t see elsewhere with other products so that was cool. Artwork and coloring is lovely too. Driving to games and practices with two kids I figure there’s easily 10 minutes in the car 4-5 days a week for something educational that’s gotta add up!! Very pleased and highly recommend.

I love how they give the meaning of the prefixes suffix and examples of words that we us on a regular. The quality is awesome as well. I give my kids 3 cards to practice by themselves then we come back to c who learned what and how to use it. It have alot of ending sounds so they can learn that then add a letter or blended sounds. I really like this.

Excellent package. The flash cards are wonderful. Kids just love all the Highlights stuff.

The cards are good reinforcement, to what children are learning in school. Also has games to play for spelling retention.

Great set of flash cards for phonics, simple to use, easy to understand for the student more importantly. Color coded to track progression through the child’s learning experience. Overall one of the best sets of phonic flash cards I’ve come across.

These were recommended by our teacher and perfect for my first grader. The cards were a good size and of good quality. I liked that it has both prefix and suffix cards, which I wasn't able to find with other brands. Very happy with this purchase!

My son has dyslexia. He is struggle if with reading comprehension because of fluency. He is at beginning 2nd grade reading level. These cards are perfect.
