Used to clean and degrease brake components whilst changing pads and discs on a variety of cars. It works well but evaporates very rapidly. Make sure you use nitrile gloves as you don’t want it on your skin and use it in a well-ventilated place as the fumes aren’t good for you (if you inhale them it makes you fall over and gives you a massive headache). As it’s a petroleum based solvent it will also soften some types of plastics and remove some printed markings. Read the user instructions before using.

Good stuff that's pressurised container always ready to use. The only negative side is that you can have a 5L of this stuff for around £10, just need to have one of those pump spraying bottles. For any casual DIY'er though two cans are mote than enough and last very long. Great product and does amazing job of cleaning/degreasing not only brakes but anything mechanical, bike parts, engine components etc. Can also be used to remove stickers/glue residue since it contains petroleum components.

Can’t be without this if working on brakes, i.e. changing fluid or pads. This is very good at removing any oils and other contaminants from the brake disc after working on them which will allow the brake pads to work properly against the disc. Awesome stuff and it’s also good at cleaning other parts as well as it leaves no residue

Its a good cleaner, but it doesn't work upside down as advertised. Have tried with 3 different cans ordered from different suppliers over time, all say 360 degree nozzle and that it works upside down, but none have worked so far.

Bought these for use while changing the pads and discs on my car. Used to help clean off the dust and rust from the old brake fittings. It really does come out of the can with some force. This was helpful for blasting away the dirt as another brand I had only trickled out the can in comparison. Also gave a quick blast on the new discs to remove any protective oil coating. Great product!

Holts brake cleaner i use all the time it does the job well .
